Join us as IT Business Analyst in Södertälje, Sweden supporting our Biologics manufacturing facility in Gärtuna.

We are now seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst with project management experience. You will collaborate with senior business partners, IT stakeholders, and regional partners to develop business cases, assist in business process design, and ensure that proposed solutions meet our quality and compliance standards-while identifying, piloting, and scaling AI/automation opportunities that improve outcomes safely and responsibly.

What you'll do:

As an IT Business Analyst, you will partner closely with business stakeholders to uncover needs, identify AI and automation opportunities, and translate complex requirements into practical, data- and AI-enabled solutions. You'll shape designs that balance impact, cost, model performance, and readiness, and help teams understand implications and risks. You'll contribute to the innovation pipeline by incubating proofs of value, running rapid experiments, and guiding successful pilots into production. Your work includes building value cases with clear ROI, productivity, quality, and safety outcomes, while tracking benefits over time. You'll collaborate with architecture, data, engineering, and MLOps teams to define the capabilities and guardrails needed for success, and lead workshops that clarify requirements, data needs, and success metrics. Finally, you'll drive analytics and insights to inform decisions, support A/B testing and iterative optimization, and enable change and adoption through AI literacy, responsible use, and human?in?the?loop operating models.

You'll maintain clear scope, run change requests, and manage model retraining and drift, balancing time, cost, and quality. You'll define measurable outcomes and KPIs early, track them against baselines, and adjust plans to protect ROI. You'll establish governance routines and ensure compliance with quality, GxP, data privacy, cybersecurity, ethical AI, model governance, and audit requirements, maintaining evidence and explainability documentation.

Din roll

Du ansvarar för kemisk och fysikalisk analys av färdig produkt, halvfabrikat, aktiva substanser, råvaror och förpackningsmaterial/device. Du arbetar i nära samarbete med produktionen och även andra stödfunktioner som kvalitetsvärdering och processteknik.



Du hanterar ett stort flöde av prover från flera olika tillverknings- och inköpsprocesser. Analyserna genomförs med moderna tekniker inom kromatografi, spektroskopi, våtkemiska och mättekniska metoder.



I laboratorierna arbetar vi i grupper om ca 15 personer samt ingår i olika tvärfunktionella team. Därför är det viktigt att du tycker om och är bra på att samarbeta med andra, samt kan kommunicera på ett tydligt och bra sätt.



Vardagen i laboratorierna innehåller både rutinarbete och omprioriteringar av uppgifter utifrån vad produktionen behöver. Därför behöver du ha en struktur i arbetet men ändå kunna vara flexibel om förutsättningarna ändras.



Att arbeta med ständiga förbättringar ingår i ditt dagliga arbete och du verkar för att skapa robusta processer där Lean är vårt systematiska arbetssätt. Vi befinner oss på en spännande digitaliseringsresa med många digitala verktyg och en allt högre automatisering på våra laboratorier.



Vilken kompetens söker vi?

* Högskoleexamen inom naturvetenskapligt område minst 3 år. Analytisk kemi/Kemiteknik eller motsvarande utbildningar.
* Dokumenterad erfarenhet genom yrkeserfarenhet av analytiskt arbete av läkemedelsanalys.
* Mycket goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska (både i tal och skrift)

Olika tekniska hjälpmedel är viktiga arbetsredskap i rollen och kravet på daglig leverans gör att du behöver ha god vana av att arbeta med datorer och system.



Det är meriterande om du har erfarenhet från analysarbete, tillverkning, kvalitetskontroll av läkemedel eller andra kvalitetskontroller, myndighetsinspektioner samt validering/kvalificering. Tidigare erfarenhet av arbete enligt Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) och Lean ses också som en merit.

Vi kan nu erbjuda en spännande möjlighet att bli en del av oss på Sweden Biomanufacturing Center (SBC): Till kvalitetsorganisationen på SBC söker vi flera Analytiska Biokemister inom kvalitetskontroll.

Din roll

Du arbetar med analytisk kvalitetssäkring enligt gällande cGxP.

Rollen omfattar både provhantering och beredning av prover och reagens, såväl som analyser, granskning av data och rapportering av resultat. Kontrollerna utförs med olika analytiska tekniker såsom HPSEC, GC, gelelektrofores, CE-SDS, cIEF och proteinkoncentration med UV/Vis. Devicetestning och kompendiala metoder såsom sub-visual partiklar, utseende, synliga partiklar och extraherbar volym utförs också i laboratoriet. Vi arbetar även med införande av nya tekniker till site.

I rollen ingår även en mängd olika icke-rutinmässiga tester inklusive analytisk metodöverföring (ATT) och analytiskt stöd till produktionen vid främst processvalideringar i samband med lansering av nya produkter. Detta innebär att du behöver hålla dig uppdaterad inom den tekniska utveckling, utföra trendanalyser och ge stöd till funktionella och tvärfunktionella utredningar.

Förutom det analytiska arbetet ingår även underhåll av laboratorieutrustningen och vissa administrativa arbetsuppgifter. Du hanterar ett stort antal prover från både tillverkning på SBC och från andra Siter, och stabilitetsstudier.

Du arbetar i olika team både inom gruppen och i olika tvärfunktionella team, både lokalt och globalt.



AstraZeneca arbetar löpande med LEAN och ständiga förbättringar med syfte att förbättra och effektivisera verksamheten. Detta arbete är något som värderas högt och som du förväntas vara delaktig i.

Vi förutsätter

* Naturvetenskaplig examen om minst 180 hp (120 poäng enligt tidigare poängsättning) inom kemi/biokemi eller motsvarande
* Praktisk erfarenhet av arbete med biokemiska metoder, framför allt analyserna cIEF och CE-SDS inom verksamhet styrd av Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
* Mycket god förmåga att tydligt kommunicera och uttrycka dig i tal och skrift på både svenska och engelska



Det är meriterande om du har erfarenhet av att arbeta med kvalitetssäkring inom läkemedels- eller livsmedelstillverkning, alternativt annan GMP-styrd verksamhet. Även erfarenhet/kunskaper inom LEAN är till din fördel.



Som person är du flexibel inför ändrade förutsättningar och har ett strukturerat arbetssätt. Du har god samarbets- och kommunikationsförmåga samt en god analytiskt förmåga och ett öga för detaljer. Din roll

I din roll som Business Developer/Project Manager leder du projekt inom olika områden, främst med fokus på investeringar men även andra typer av projekt kan vara aktuella. Du ansvarar för projektets scope, tidplan och budget. Our Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) Regulatory functions span across the product lifecycle and are responsible for the regulatory strategy relating to the development, manufacture and testing of all our medicines. With our expertise we interpret, anticipate and shape global Health Authority expectations to create insightful CMC and Device Regulatory Strategies. We are the bridge between our R&D functions, Operations sites, Quality and Global Supply Teams in helping safe, effective medicines reach the right patient at the right times.

What you'll do
In this Director/Team Manager role you will possess strategic leadership skills and will be accountable for leading a team of Regulatory professionals. You will provide overall direction and be accountable for people management and development to ensure delivery of global CMC regulatory submissions for a product/group of products across the product lifecycle based on the needs identified by the business, markets and patients. You will provide high level strategic, operational and tactical regulatory CMC expertise and direction to AstraZeneca product teams in support of drug products.

You will apply Lean Principles to ways of working and foster a positive working environment that supports continuous improvement and simplifications. You are expected to drive and promote one way of working across the CMC RA Submission Excellence & Project management organisation.

You will manage complex situations to ensure correct prioritisation in order to deliver the needs of the AZ business, the customer and the future direction of CMC RA. You will collaborate with Product Leadership on future strategies and have a strong input to the strategic direction of CMC RA globally.

* Manage risk by making complex judgements, developing innovative solutions and applying a comprehensive cross-functional and industry understanding. Monitor changes in the global regulatory environment and oversee process for incorporation emerging trends into effective submission strategies
* Assist in budget management and drive resource planning and coordinating the appropriate deployment of CMC RA staff to appropriate cross functional teams in consultation with the relevant function managers. Regularly review such allocation to ensure optimum utilisation and development of CMC staff
* Accountable for the delivery of regulatory initiatives and improvement programs aimed at ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, enhancing commitment to quality and improving profitability, ensuring that policy and standards meet regulatory requirements

Vi förutsätter
Att du har en akademisk utbildning eller liknande erfarenhet kopplat mot arbetsmiljö, samt erfarenhet av att koordinera och leda förändringar. Du har god kunskap om arbetsmiljöfrågor och vi ser gärna att du är kunnig inom riskhantering, Safe System of Work samt frågor som berör säkerhet och hälsa (SHE). About the role

Vi på Facility Management (FM) levererar dagligen FM-tjänster tillsammans med våra samarbetspartners (bestående av ca 450 personer) till hela vårt Campus i Södertälje samt till vårt marknadsbolags Nordiska kontor i Stockholm, Helsingfors, Köpenhamn och Oslo.

Som Facility Manager kommer Du vara en del av FM Soft Service teamet inom Facility Management med placering i Södertälje. Din Roll

Din spelplan

Du kommer arbeta mot PET Formulation & NPI, en av våra tillverkningsenheter inom funktionen Technology. Vi är idag drygt 1000 personer inom Site OSD och vi finns i Gärtuna.

På Site OSD Formulation tillverkas kapslar och tabletter för oralt bruk till en volym på ca 13 miljarder doser/år. Vi är AstraZenecas lanseringssite för nya tabletter och kapslar och tillverkar ca 50% av AstraZeneca´s tablett och kapsel volym.

På vår arbetsplats värdesätter vi högt det tvärfunktionella samarbetet på alla nivåer. Vår övertygelse är att vi når framgång genom stort tekniskt intresse i kombination med ett väl integrerat produktionssystem!

Du kommer att ingå i underhållsteamet som består av ca 16 medarbetare. Vi ansvarar för underhåll, modifieringar och förvaltning av processutrustning. Vi arbetar tvärfunktionellt och du är med och säkrar att våra kunder får produkt av rätt kvalitet i rätt tid och till rätt kostnad.



Din roll

Som Serviceingenjör stödjer du drift och underhåll av utrustningar och bidrar till en hög teknisk tillgänglighet inom ditt ansvarsområde.

Ditt huvudsakliga ansvar består av att arbeta med underhåll och förbättring av de utrustningar och de arbetssätt som finns inom verksamheten.

Arbetet involverar även deltagande i projekt och förbättringsarbeten som kan handla om investeringar i nya utrustningar, uppgradering av utrustning eller som syftar till att effektivisera verksamheten.



Vi förutsätter att du som söker har

* teknisk högskoleutbildning alt gymnasial utbildning med teknisk inriktning och flera års yrkeserfarenhet från tillverkande industri

AstraZeneca's BioPharmaceutical Development (BPD) department consists of scientists, engineers, mathematicians and project managers whose ambition is to transform biologic molecules into life-changing medicines.

The Process Engineering and Packaging Group (PEP) Group sits in the BioPharmaceutical R&D organization. The PEP group develops clinical and commercial fill/finish processes, combination product assembly processes, and packaging for biopharmaceutical products in the AstraZeneca portfolio. This role will be based at Sweden Bio-manufacturing Center (SBC), and will serve to strengthen collaboration between development and the manufacturing operations business units. SBC, our new production unit in Södertälje, is a central part of AstraZeneca's strategy for the production, quality assurance and delivery of biological medicines.

Your role

We are currently seeking two highly skilled individuals for Senior Engineer or Associate Principal Engineer roles, with one focused on CP Combination Assembly Design Transfer and the other on Drug Product Aseptic Fill/Finish Technology Transfer. As a key member of the PEP organization, you will play a crucial role in process development for late-stage clinical products, technology transfer to both internal and outsourced commercial manufacturing.

In this role, you will provide technical and strategic leadership for the development of drug product processes and parenteral device assembly processes for late-stage programs. You will apply scientific and engineering knowledge to solve issues arising during development and execution of processes. Additionally, you will lead technology development initiatives, drive a culture of innovation, and create solid partnerships with key interfaces.

Our site in Södertälje is where you'll collaborate with AstraZeneca leaders, particularly within the Global Biological Operations (Commercial Operations) organization, as well as internal/external manufacturing sites within our network. Your experience working with functions such as late-stage formulation development, device development, clinical operations, supply chain, quality, and regulatory will be essential for success in this role.

* B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant Engineering field, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field with experience in the biopharmaceutical industry

Din roll

Som Serviceingenjör blir dina huvuduppgifter att arbeta med förbättringar av underhållsstrategin och våra arbetssätt inom underhåll. Du kommer att driva utvecklingen gällande teknisk tillgänglighet för maskin och utrustning. Rollen innebär planering och genomförande av motåtgärder och förbättringar för att eliminera återkommande fel, samt säkerhetsställa arbetet med att nå stabila processer i vår produktion. Du kommer att planera aktiviteter gällande förebyggande underhåll och tillståndsbaserat underhåll tillsammans med produktionen. Du kommer optimera reservdelshållningen inom specifikt område, driva samt koordinera utrustningsspecifika avvikelser. Din roll innefattar problemlösning och förbättringsarbete i specifika uppdrag och du medverkar vid SHE- och GMP-inspektioner samt andra typer av granskningar.



Arbetet utförs i GMP-miljö, vilket bl.a. innebär speciella arbetssätt och miljö med hög renhet, vilket ställer höga krav på dig som individ. Arbetet bedrivs på dagtid. Du rapporterar till Gruppchef Underhåll Site Steriles.



Vi förutsätter

Du som söker ska ha civil- eller högskoleingenjör inom automation, maskinteknik eller motsvarande alt. gymnasial utbildning med teknisk inriktning och flera års teknisk yrkeserfarenhet från tillverkande industri eller motsvarande.



God kännedom om SHE (Safety, Health och Environment) är ett måste. Du har god datorvana och kunskap om administrativa system. Vi ser att du har goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska, såväl i tal som i skrift då leverantörskontakter ingår i arbetet samt medverkan vid inspektioner.

Din roll
Du arbetar med analytisk kvalitetssäkring enligt gällande cGxP.

Rollen omfattar både provhantering och beredning av prover och reagens, såväl som analyser, granskning av data och rapportering av resultat. Kontrollerna utförs med olika analytiska tekniker såsom HPSEC, GC, gelelektrofores, CE-SDS, cIEF och proteinkoncentration med UV/Vis. Devicetestning och kompendiala metoder såsom sub-visual partiklar, utseende, synliga partiklar och extraherbar volym utförs också i laboratoriet. Vi arbetar även med införande av nya tekniker till site.

I rollen ingår även en mängd olika icke-rutinmässiga tester inklusive analytisk metodöverföring (ATT) och analytiskt stöd till produktionen vid främst processvalideringar i samband med lansering av nya produkter. Detta innebär att du behöver hålla dig uppdaterad inom den tekniska utveckling, utföra trendanalyser och ge stöd till funktionella och tvärfunktionella utredningar.

Förutom det analytiska arbetet ingår även underhåll av laboratorieutrustningen och vissa administrativa arbetsuppgifter. Du hanterar ett stort antal prover från både tillverkning på SBC och från andra Siter, och stabilitetsstudier.

Du arbetar i olika team både inom gruppen och i olika tvärfunktionella team, både lokalt och globalt.

AstraZeneca arbetar löpande med LEAN och ständiga förbättringar med syfte att förbättra och effektivisera verksamheten. Detta arbete är något som värderas högt och som du förväntas vara delaktig i.

Vi förutsätter

* Naturvetenskaplig examen om minst 180 hp (120 poäng enligt tidigare poängsättning) inom kemi/biokemi eller motsvarande
* Praktisk erfarenhet av arbete med analytisk kemi, företrädesvis biokemi/analytisk kemi företrädesvis inom verksamhet styrd av Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
* Mycket god förmåga att tydligt kommunicera och uttrycka dig i tal och skrift på både svenska och engelska

Det är meriterande om du har erfarenhet av att arbeta med kvalitetssäkring inom läkemedels- eller livsmedelstillverkning, alternativt annan GMP-styrd verksamhet. Även erfarenhet/kunskaper inom LEAN är till din fördel.

The PT&D Organization is responsible for drug product design, development and technical support for drug substance and products throughout the lifecycle. TOSI is a multi-skilled global organization based in 13 locations in 7 countries, which provide technical leadership and subject matter expert support to AstraZeneca commercial small molecule drug products. Our technical support and expertise spans from formulation, process engineering, analytical, and statistics to devices, packaging and manufacturing technology strategy. The areas in which we deploy our technical expertise are in the support of drug product improvement projects, changes, technology transfers, investigations, product launches and regulatory submissions, product robustness, validation and risk evaluation.

What you'll do

As Associate Principal Scientist you will be responsible to provide analytical subject matter expert support to a portfolio of oral solid dosage products across their commercial lifecycle at global level. Using your knowledge in analytical science and analytical technologies, you will provide expertise and leadership to ensure efficient and effective support to internal and external manufacturing sites and testing laboratories located in multiple countries. In this role, you may be the product technical lead for one or more drug products, coordinating TOSI activities and being the main point of contact for our customers as well as representing TOSI in the Global Supply Teams (GST) and/or Pharmaceutical Teams (PT).

We will also rely on you to train and mentor colleagues and partners in analytical methods used in your expert field.

Based on your experience and skills, ?your main accountabilities will include:

* Being the accountable analytical lead for a group of OSD products and supporting all analytical lifecycle activities to ensure testing methods, specifications and control strategies are and remain fit for purpose and aligned with technology advancements and regulatory requirements.
* Working as analytical SME in multi-functional cross-site teams supporting analytical technology transfer projects to internal and external manufacturing and testing sites.
* Leading and assessing complex technical changes and playing a proactive role in seeing opportunities for analytical method improvements, including automation.
* Leading analytical issues investigations in QC laboratories and manufacturing sites.
* Planning and driving or coordinating laboratory work when needed to support projects and products.
* Providing SME support during the regulatory file authoring and the interaction with local authorities for regulatory submissions, variations and license renewals.
* Leading analytical risk assessments related to nitrosamines, extractables & leachables elemental and organic impurities.
* Developing solutions to a diverse range of problems requiring complex judgements based on highly developed levels of conceptual thought, strategic vision and analysis.
* Providing Technical leadership to Issue Management Team (IMT).
* Supporting the definition of analytical standards impacting commercial products, specific to regulatory expectations and good business or quality standards (including pharmacopeial standards).

Essential requirements

* MSc or PhD degree or equivalent experience, complemented with considerable experience in an appropriate subject area such as Analytical Chemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences or similar.
* Strong technical leadership and interpersonal skills and a proven track record to lead and collaborate across teams, functions and locations.
* In-depth understanding of analytical sciences in the Pharmaceutical Industry, applied to OSD products, including raw materials, intermediates and final products.
* Good understanding of control strategies and specification setting and proven knowledge of a broad range of analytical techniques.
* Experience in analytical testing of OSD products, including related analytical methods validation, transfer and optimization across the lifecycle.
* Experience in issue investigation and change assessment from analytical point of view. Good knowledge of standard tools for root cause analysis (PPS, Level 0, etc.)

What you'll do
Being a CMC RA Manager, means that you will effectively manage the production of Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) documentation for designated product ranges to deliver the needs of both the AZ business and the customer. You will project manage global CMC regulatory submissions ensuring that project activities and documentation are delivered to the required standards across the product lifecycle.

As a CMC RA Manager you will also contribute and own the regulatory CMC components of business-related projects having effective levels of interactive communication with collaborators and project team members to ensure that relevant timelines and regulatory commitments are communicated. What you'll do

As a member of GFR based in Sweden, your primary responsibility will be delivering high-quality financial data to assist the management team in gaining financial insight needed to make informed decisions as well as externally: to regulatory authorities, shareholders and other key partners. In other words - we get to see things through, end-to-end and not only advice. This includes responsibility in delivering financial information that follows GAAP (Swedish and IFRS) and act in an advisory role ensuring that complex reporting transactions are accurately reflected in the reports.

Our team is responsible for statutory accounting for all Swedish legal entities as well as being part of the global GFR team consolidation of the AZ group accounts and in particular managing reporting to group from Sweden. The team work as finance business partners and collaborate and give advice to the business regarding accounting implications for both IFRS accounting standards as well as Swedish GAAP. Other specific areas are the responsibility for the Swedish pensions accounting and financial assets accounting. The team is also managing all corporate transactions such as dividends, capital transactions etc.

Typical Accountabilities include:

* Participate in the month end close reporting
* Monitoring and managing accuracy of the accounting records for AstraZeneca AB
* Reviewing the monthly reporting of results into the group consolidation and review of a number of Sweden Balance accounts reconciliations as well as P&L analytics including flux and activity analysis

The Senior Project Manager delivers large, complex franchise, enterprise, strategic projects across multiple functions, sites and regions. You are accountable for project team execution, processes and capabilities within the Global Biologics Operations PMO. In the role you'll collaborate with manufacturing sites, other functional project managers, other PMO leads, CMC teams, subject-matter experts, key partners, functional leads, contract manufacturing organizations, outside testing labs, site and senior management. Further you will:

* Leads and delivers GPO strategic projects using the PMO project methodology, tools and processes, to meet agreed scopes, timelines, deliverables, budgets, resource estimates, and success criteria. Manages project budgets, expenses and resources to meet estimates and commitments. You will identify and improve practices and processes while working to establish business cases for programs undertaken and prioritized by the region
* Leads cross-functional project teams to deliver projects (can be drug product or non-drug product projects)
* Works with site heads, functional heads and other key partners to assure continuous alignment between corporate and site priorities and processes and with corporate strategies and strategic projects
* Tracks and reports on the progress of assigned projects to the appropriate governance, partner and senior management
* With the project sponsor, presents stage-gate reviews, approvals and project updates to appropriate governance forums, steering committees, Site Leadership Teams, and/or other key partners
* Trains project teams and members as needed on project management tools and governance process to ensure smooth and successful delivery of projects. Advocates for appropriate project management across Biologics to ensure effective and efficient delivery of defined business results
* Responsible for understanding the larger project portfolio(s), resolving potential resource conflicts between projects, and prioritizing appropriately
* Identifies, supports and leads continuous improvement initiatives
* Coaches, develops, mentors and leads direct reports to ensure successful individual performance, career development and diverse organizational talent management

Essentials for the role

* BS in Engineering, Science or related operations/manufacturing field, with 8+ years of Project Management experience
* 3+ years experience in the pharmaceutical, biopharma or GMP industry; must be familiar with pharma or biopharma GMP
* Demonstrated track record of success in delivering strategic, complex, cross-functional and multi-site projects on-time, on-budget and to committed deliverables to generate significant business value
* Demonstrated mentoring, coaching and people development capabilities

What you'll do

As a member of GFR based in Sweden, your primary responsibility will be delivering high-quality financial data to assist the management team in gaining financial insight needed to make informed decisions as well as externally: to regulatory authorities, shareholders and other key partners. In other words - we get to see things through, end-to-end and not only advice. This includes responsibility in delivering financial information that follows GAAP (Swedish and IFRS) and act in an advisory role ensuring that complex reporting transactions are accurately reflected in the reports.

Our team is responsible for statutory accounting for all Swedish legal entities as well as being part of the global GFR team consolidation of the AZ group accounts and in particular managing reporting to group from Sweden. The team work as finance business partners and collaborate and give advice to the business regarding accounting implications for both IFRS accounting standards as well as Swedish GAAP. Other specific areas are the responsibility for the Swedish pensions accounting and financial assets accounting. The team is also managing all corporate transactions such as dividends, capital transactions etc.

Typical Accountabilities include:

* Participate in the month end close reporting
* Monitoring and managing accuracy of the accounting records for AstraZeneca AB
* Reviewing the monthly reporting of results into the group consolidation and review of a number of Sweden Balance accounts reconciliations as well as P&L analytics including flux and activity analysis
* Support the external audit activities ensuring deliverables are provided in line with agreed timelines. Work with key finance groups including the AstraZeneca finance shared service organisation to ensure close processes are delivered in line with global close calendar
* Support the delivery of process improvements and finance transformation activities for the Swedish companies.
* Support of internal controls' testing, process improvement and special global finance projects, as required
* Participate in the preparation of the annual financial documents for all Swedish legal entities in the AZ group, and working closely with the group's auditors
* Participate in the preparation of the Group Annual Report



You will interact with:

This position work across different areas of Finance, Tax and other functional areas (e.g. Business Planning & Analysis, Commercial Finance, Operations, R&D, Payroll, IT, etc.) to collect information in support of deliverables. Therefore, we are expecting you to be a phenomenal communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders and interact with external auditors to ensure deliverables meet timelines.



We believe that you have:

* A degree in Business Administration or Economics
* At least three years' experience of qualified finance work within accounting or audit
* A good understanding of IFRS as well as Swedish GAAP
* Excellent communication in Swedish and in English and interpersonal skills
* Analytical mindset

We believe that you are a qualified accountant with extensive experience from working with tax issues or a tax lawyer with a very good understanding of tax accounting. You will report to the Sweden Tax Director and be operationally responsible for all aspects of the Swedish compliance processes with regard to direct taxes. This is a multi-layered role including leading the inhouse team in the quarterly tax reporting processes and managing the Swedish tax return processes together with a 3rd party service provider.

The position is based at our modern manufacturing plant in Södertälje where the Swedish tax team currently is located but it may in the future be possible to also work a few days a week from AstraZeneca's new office in Solna. * Responsibility for managing the Swedish direct tax return processes together with a 3rd party service provider (co-sourcing model), including tax technical judgements as required. Review of tax return workings to ensure that material risks are identified and addressed.
* Responsibility for tax accounting and the quarterly reporting of the Swedish units under IFRS as well as Swedish GAAP, incl. ensuring that the Sarbanes-Oxley processes are complied with.
* Liaise with various tax and accounting departments within Sweden, UK and the US to ensure accurate and timely delivery of information required for the tax computations and tax return work.
* Responsibility for Swedish cash tax management and forecasting.
* Tax audit and tax litigation support including preparation of responses to Tax Authority queries.
* Review of international as well as domestic tax law and regulation for the purpose to provide tax advice and to assess how legislative developments impact the Swedish reporting units.
* Support to Global Business partners and other parts of Global Finance on material tax issues.
* Line manager responsibilities for two team members.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

* Qualified accountant or tax lawyer (University Law or Economic degree, Chartered Accountant or equivalent) with at least 6 years of relevant financial experience in a corporate or professional environment. They may also hold specific tax or business qualifications (e.g. LL.M, MBA).
* Strong understanding of Swedish GAAP and IFRS tax accounting together with disclosure requirements. SAP experience is a merit.
* Ability to manage and progress numerous actions in a coordinated and organised manner meeting deadlines.
* Proven track record of delivery and execution.
* Experience from successfully leading people, either in a line manager or project manager position.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English.

Denna tvärfunktionella och viktiga roll gör dig till en representant för både kund och företag - du blir en nyckelperson som skyddar våra produkter, tillverkningstillstånd och patienter.

Organisatoriskt tillhör du en grupp om ca 30 personer som stödjer tillverkningen på Site Respiratory i Snäckviken.

Din roll
Du kommer att arbeta nära den spännande och dynamiska produktionen och vara med "där det händer". Dagligen deltar du i tvärfunktionella diskussioner vid produktionslinjen och tar avvägda beslut om hur produktionen ska löpa vidare utifrån kvalitetsaspekten. Att granska och godkänna protokoll från tillverkningen och därmed ansvara för att våra produkter håller rätt kvalitet och uppfyller ställda krav är också en del av din vardag.

Rollen har ofta en utredande karaktär där du inhämtar fakta och använder ditt logiska tänkande för att komma fram till beslut. Arbetet är självständigt och uppgifterna breda, du har stor möjlighet till eget lärande, och som representant för ditt område behövs mod, engagemang, beslutsamhet och integritet.

Vilken kompetens söker vi?

Naturvetenskaplig universitets- eller högskoleexamen om minst 4 år. Utbildningsinriktning kan t.ex. vara civilingenjör inom bioteknik, kemi- eller läkemedelsinriktning, eller en apotekarexamen.

Goda kunskaper om läkemedelsframställning enligt gällande regelverk och Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
*

Mycket goda kunskaper i svenska, i tal och skrift.
*

Goda kunskaper i engelska, i tal och skrift.

Det är meriterande med erfarenhet från tillverkning, kvalitetskontroll, kvalitetssäkring av läkemedel, myndighetsinspektioner eller validering/kvalificering. Även kunskaper inom LEAN är till din fördel. Vi ser gärna att du har ett intresse för teknik, system och process.

Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC)
Our Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) Regulatory function spans across the product lifecycle and are responsible for the regulatory strategy relating to the development, manufacture and testing of all of our medicines.

With our expertise we interpret, anticipate and shape global Health Authority expectations to build insightful CMC and Device Regulatory Strategies.

We are the bridge between our R&D functions, Operations sites, Quality and Global Supply Teams in helping safe, effective medicines reach the right patient at the right times. We manage the timely preparation and delivery of CMC contributions to the regulatory submissions linked to medicinal products throughout the commercial lifecycle; including Clinical Trial Applications (CTAs), Marketing Authoring Applications (MAAs) and all post approval activities improving the value of business critical Supply Chain changes to the AZ organization by supplying the regulatory context, intelligence and guidance required to advise the development of robust plans for change initiatives.

What you'll do
Being a CMC RA Manager, means that you will effectively manage the production of Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) documentation for designated product ranges to deliver the needs of both the AZ business and the customer. You will project manage global CMC regulatory submissions ensuring that project activities and documentation are delivered to the required standards across the product lifecycle.

As a CMC RA Manager you will also contribute and own the regulatory CMC components of business-related projects having effective levels of interactive communication with collaborators and project team members to ensure that relevant timelines and regulatory commitments are communicated. The accountabilities also include responsibility for change management as assigned and to ensure the learning from own projects are shared with other co-workers/within the function.

Responsibilities:

Be accountable for delivering "submission ready" CMC modules to internal and external regulatory partners in compliance with relevant AstraZeneca systems and procedures, ensuring submission quality

Manage/Lead the preparation and delivery of CMC contributions throughout the product lifecycle

Maintain regulatory databases related to submissions

Communicate Health Authority approval status

Develop and build expertise in regional regulatory requirements to ensure compliance of CMC submissions

We now have a compelling opportunity within our Tax department for an experienced Tax Manager to join us. We believe that you are a qualified accountant with extensive experience from working with tax issues or a tax lawyer with a very good understanding of tax accounting. You will report to the Sweden Tax Director and be operationally responsible for all aspects of the Swedish compliance processes with regard to direct taxes. This is a multi-layered role including leading the inhouse team in the quarterly tax reporting processes and managing the Swedish tax return processes together with a 3rd party service provider.

The position is based at our modern manufacturing plant in Södertälje where the Swedish tax team currently is located but it may in the future be possible to also work a few days a week from AstraZeneca's new office in Solna. Although we are an office based company AstraZeneca do offer some flexibility to ensure good work life balance.



We rely on you to

* Responsibility for managing the Swedish direct tax return processes together with a 3rd party service provider (co-sourcing model), including tax technical judgements as required. Review of tax return workings to ensure that material risks are identified and addressed.
* Responsibility for tax accounting and the quarterly reporting of the Swedish units under IFRS as well as Swedish GAAP, incl. ensuring that the Sarbanes-Oxley processes are complied with.
* Liaise with various tax and accounting departments within Sweden, UK and the US to ensure accurate and timely delivery of information required for the tax computations and tax return work.
* Responsibility for Swedish cash tax management and forecasting.
* Tax audit and tax litigation support including preparation of responses to Tax Authority queries.
* Review of international as well as domestic tax law and regulation for the purpose to provide tax advice and to assess how legislative developments impact the Swedish reporting units.
* Support to Global Business partners and other parts of Global Finance on material tax issues.
* Line manager responsibilities for two team members.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

* Qualified accountant or tax lawyer (University Law or Economic degree, Chartered Accountant or equivalent) with at least 6 years of relevant financial experience in a corporate or professional environment. They may also hold specific tax or business qualifications (e.g. LL.M, MBA).
* Strong understanding of Swedish GAAP and IFRS tax accounting together with disclosure requirements. SAP experience is a merit.
* Ability to manage and progress numerous actions in a coordinated and organised manner meeting deadlines.
* Proven track record of delivery and execution.
* Experience from successfully leading people, either in a line manager or project manager position.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English.
* Strong analytical and research skills, and ability to utilize IT effectively
* As a person you are positive, driven, responsible, structured and have a strong ability to work independently, while being a team player.

Vår grupp om 30 personer stödjer hela tillverkningsavsnittet för Respiratory med kvalitetsfrågor; ett uppdrag som innebär många tvärfunktionella kontakter och ett nära samarbete med produktionen samt andra stödfunktioner så som kvalitetskontroll, processteknik och underhåll.

Arbetet som Senior Quality Assurance Specialist är självständigt med varierande uppgifter i en föränderlig miljö. We currently have an opportunity to be a part of the multi-year roll out of our Global Planning Transformation programme.

The Global Planning Transformation Programme is part of the Operations 2025 strategy and covers our end-to-end supply chains across our global supply network and truly aligns with our vision of a synchronised patient centric supply chain.

This will enable us to respond rapidly to increasing business needs and deliver competitive advantage through the capability developed by this programme. The end result is our supply chains will be synchronised from node to node (site to site) with clear and real-time visibilities.

Our scope includes our planning processes and roles across our internal manufacturing sites, external and internal supply networks. We will cover changes to our planning business processes, systems and information visualisation. This is a major undertaking that will increase our planning sophistication and will be a multi-year transformation.

Reporting to the People Workstream lead, People Workstream project manager will support the hypercare model as we transition to the new operating model. They will lead the design of phase 2 of the People Workstream activities to meet future network planning requirements.

What you'll do:

* Support the new APS operating model changes:
* Support future planning organisation changes
* Responsible for the timely removal of project resources and the transfer of all activities to BAU
* Review the material planning & production scheduling operating model and access any people impacts
* Support development and implementation of 4B strategy and succession plans for global planning
* Change management: communicate changes and clarifications at all levels within the organisation
* Governance: attend governance meetings; escalate issues appropriately to support People changes
* Ensure coordination between the different workstreams involved in the project and ensure adherence to deadlines
* Prioritises workload, and that of others as appropriate, to achieve project milestones and targets

* Technical or Business Degree or proven relevant experience

We are looking to recruit a leader in our Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC) Regulatory Affairs, Submission Excellence team at Associate Director Line Manager level to support and lead a team of Regulatory professionals which is responsible for managing CMC submissions across the product lifecycle. The position is permanent and based in either Södertälje, Sweden or Macclesfield, UK

Our Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) Regulatory functions span across the product lifecycle and are responsible for the regulatory strategy relating to the development, manufacture and testing of all our medicines. With our expertise we interpret, anticipate and shape global Health Authority expectations to create insightful CMC and Device Regulatory Strategies. We are the bridge between our R&D functions, Operations sites, Quality and Global Supply Teams in helping safe, effective medicines reach the right patient at the right times.

What you'll do
In this Associate Director/Line manager role you will possess strategic leadership skills and will be accountable for leading a team of Regulatory professionals. You will provide overall direction and be accountable for people management and development to ensure delivery of global CMC regulatory submissions for a product/group of products across the product lifecycle based on the needs identified by the business, markets and patients.

You will apply Lean Principles to ways of working and foster a positive working environment that supports continuous improvement and simplifications to drive and promote one way of working across the CMC RA Submission Excellence organisation. You will manage complex situations to ensure correct prioritisation in order to deliver the needs of the AZ business, the customer and the future direction of CMC RA. You will provide high level strategic, operational and tactical regulatory CMC expertise and direction to AstraZeneca product team in support of drug products. Additional accountabilities:

Ensure project activities managed within the team are delivered to a high standard, agreed time scales and meet the AZ business requirements, compliance requirements and regulatory authority expectations worldwide
*

Accountable for delivering the CMC Regulatory Submissions for a complex portfolio of drug projects across the product lifecycle. Provide regulatory leadership as needed in product in-license/due diligence review, product divestment and product withdrawal.
*

Have an understanding of regional and/or global regulatory science and overall drug/biologic development processes and strategies
*

Lead cross business non-drug projects and act as business owner for critical business processes to ensure accelerated submissions, support launch activities and management of regulatory information and ensure regulatory compliance on behalf of AZ
*

Manage risk by making complex judgements, developing innovative solutions and applying a comprehensive cross-functional and industry understanding. Monitor changes in the global regulatory environment and oversee process for incorporation emerging trends into effective submission strategies
*

Assist in budget management and drive resource planning and coordinating the appropriate deployment of CMC RA staff to appropriate cross functional teams in consultation with the relevant function managers. Regularly review such allocation to ensure optimum utilisation and development of CMC staff

Essential for the role

At least a Bachelor's degree in a science related field and/or other appropriate knowledge/experience

Broad background of experience working in pharmaceutical business

Proven leadership and program management experience
*

Ability to think strategically and critically evaluate risks to regulatory activities.

Ability to work strategically within a complex, business critical and high-profile development program
*

Must demonstrate competencies of: strategic thinking, strategic influencing, innovation, initiative, leadership, decision making and excellent oral and written communication skills
