In this role, you will provide high-quality cost calculations to support purchasers in identifying pricing potential and formulating negotiation strategies. You will conduct calculations both within greenfield contexts and specific supplier specifications. Additionally, you will play an active role in supporting negotiations and supplier selection processes alongside the buyers.
Who You Are

You build trust and communicate effectively, working according to Scania's corporate culture with integrity.
The role involves international contacts and travel, so a good level of spoken and written English is required. Knowledge of Swedish or German is advantageous. Experience with Siemens cost calculation tools is considered a plus.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds – your unique experience and perspectives is valuable to us.

We offer a dynamic, flexible workplace with hybrid work options, including Scania Sergel and Midway hubs. With a structured development plan and courses, Scania supports your career growth both locally and internationally.
Benefits include training at our health center Gröndal or wellness allowance, result bonus, flexible hours, and company car leasing. Scania also hosts events for employees and their families, and Stockholm residents enjoy direct access to Södertälje via Scania Job express buses.

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Scania’s business is expanding in several regions around the world and the team Projects and New Regions (SNF) works in many exciting areas supporting this development. We are now looking for a new member to join the team with the purpose of ensuring that Scania successfully can support customers with products and services while safeguarding that we are in compliance with current and future sanctions and trade restrictions.

You would work with the practical implications that political decisions in the US or in EU have on Scania’s business as an Export Control Coordinator.

The position

As an Export Control Coordinator you would join the Export Control team within SNF and support the Export Control Officer at purchasing in projects and on-going tasks. One of the main responsibilities will be to secure the part classification process - both in terms of developing methods and processes and in applying them.

The work is highly dynamic and you will be asked to contribute both with your energy and your ideas to develop the parts of the process which are yet to be defined. You will be working collaboratively and often closely together with your SNF colleagues as well as with Scania colleagues in the Purchasing Line Organisation, the Project Office, R&D and with Scania’s suppliers.

In the position you will report to Eleonor Hjalmarsson, Head of Projects and New Regions.

What do we offer?

We offer an interesting and challenging job, where you will be supporting Scania in an area with implications on sales and profitability. You will have the possibility to define and develop methods and processes as part of a highly motivated team.

Scania’s culture is characterised by openness, diversity and respect for the individual - our people are our most important asset. This is why we invest in employee training, and as an Export Control Coordinator you will also take part in external training to become a fully certified Export Control Manager.

Who are you?

We believe that you enjoy solving operational challenges and taking the daily work one step forward each day together with your colleagues. You are likely an analytical person who pays attention to details but who also has the ability to zoom out, see the bigger picture and plan for the next steps.

You have a relevant academic degree, for example within engineering, economics or law, and you are fluent in English and in Swedish. Perhaps you are interested in the political implications on business and if you have previous experience from Export Control this is very welcome. Perhaps most importantly, we believe that you are a strong team player and communicator who is motivated by working in a dynamic setting.

If you think that you are the right person for this task, we very much look forward to your application!

Questions?

Please contact Eleonor Hjalmarsson, Head of Projects and New Regions, phone +46 73 66 88 759.

Application
