We are now seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst with project management experience. You will collaborate with senior business partners, IT stakeholders, and regional partners to develop business cases, assist in business process design, and ensure that proposed solutions meet our quality and compliance standards-while identifying, piloting, and scaling AI/automation opportunities that improve outcomes safely and responsibly.

What you'll do:

As an IT Business Analyst, you will partner closely with business stakeholders to uncover needs, identify AI and automation opportunities, and translate complex requirements into practical, data- and AI-enabled solutions. You'll shape designs that balance impact, cost, model performance, and readiness, and help teams understand implications and risks. You'll contribute to the innovation pipeline by incubating proofs of value, running rapid experiments, and guiding successful pilots into production. Your work includes building value cases with clear ROI, productivity, quality, and safety outcomes, while tracking benefits over time. You'll collaborate with architecture, data, engineering, and MLOps teams to define the capabilities and guardrails needed for success, and lead workshops that clarify requirements, data needs, and success metrics. Kvalifikationer
Minst 7 års erfarenhet i roller som konsult inom IT för integrationsintensiva affärssystem med kopplingar mot t.ex. ekonomisystem, fakturasystem, betallösningar, datalager/business intelligence.
Minst 5 års erfarenhet i roller som Requirements Analyst eller Business Analyst för SaaS-lösningar och integrationer mot tredjeparts produkter, med speciellt fokus mot digitalisering och automatisering av affärsprocesser med användaren i fokus.
Minst 5 års erfarenhet av att jobba agilt med djup förståelse för metodikens grunder, skapande av affärsvärde, kontinuerliga förbättringar och förväntanshantering. 
Akademisk examen inom relevant IT/teknik-område, minst kandidatnivå/B.Sc.

About the role

The Project/Programme Manager leads a project team from initiation to close, to deliver effective solutions that meet approved customer and business needs. What you will do

Together with me and the product owners you will be leading the daily stand-up meetings to plan and organize the projects and work ahead. You will facilitate work in the team and raise obstacle challenges to the right stakeholders and eliminate hinders. As we are entering a more concrete way of agile work, called value creating team (VCT) it is also vital that you work closely, together and jointly with peer scrum masters within the division and with VCT managers as well as other stakeholders. In the Battery management system we develop state of charge, state of health, thermal runaway, emergency switch off and isolation measurement to mention some of the core functions and services we work with. All developers work with software requirements, implementation and tests for our modules where the tests can be performed both in simulation and in trucks or busses.

Our System is moving towards ISO26262 certification, so the team is also responsible for following the process and producing necessary documentation. 

Your responsibility will be to lead the technical development of the team deliveries.

What we are looking for

What you'll do

As a Data Business Analyst - Focus Data Cataloguing, Master Data Management (MDM) and Reference Data Management (RDM) you will be part of our Global Data Team in Operations IT.

* You will help drive the implementation of our Data Catalogue within Operations in collaboration with PMs, BA's and business users. Currently we are using Collibra and Talend.

Your Assignment

You will lead our awesome IT team that has the responsibility to secure that we have the right IT solutions and digital tools to support the production of Battery packs and Cable harnesses. The team consists today 9 coworkers and will grow during next year.

As a IT manager for Battery production are you responsible for IT strategy, roadmap, and budget. You are a part of the battery production management, advising in IT questions and taking responsibility for all IT activities within the unit.    

Since the ambition is high and the timeline is short will this put high demands on you and your team to collaborate close with other departments within the unit and IT. It is crucial to understand overall ambitions and align expectations on the IT deliverables.

In the coming year will there be a high focus on setting up the production processes and it is also important to prepare for operations.

Business analyst & Product owner CAD/vPDM
The section CAD/vPDM has the assignment to establish a cross functional Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) organisation that supports all main processes within Scania. Our platforms supports more than 12 000 users globally, in many different business areas of Scania.
The responsibility and focus of the organisation is mainly to work with demands and business requirements for processes, methods and IT solutions within the CAD/vPDM area. The key to success is that we through good contacts have gathered big understanding of all needs from the business units at Scania and are able to refine these demands into clear requirements. That requires that we are well aware of our customer’s ways of working in processes and methods and their need of support with IT tools.
Within the team you will take on the role as Business Analyst and be a vital part of the agile delivery organisation that develops the CAD/vPDM software platform. The role of the Business Analyst is to lead the gathering of requirements for an area of the CAD/vPDM platform at Scania. The role is the glue between the design organisation at R&D and the IT development organisation at Scania.
We have many ongoing initiatives, the one that we currently need support within is related to the installation of the new 3DEXPERIENCE platform. We are currently running a large project with the objective to replace the current CATIA/ENOVIA V5 platform with the new 3DEXPERIENCE platform. There are several areas where we need help, one being Technical Documentation (TDM) and Enterprise Change Management (ECM), but general knowledge from any area within 3DEXPERICENCE is a strong merit.
During Covid, part of work can be done off-site. Normally 100% on-site at the customer´s premises. The selection of candidates is done continuously. Good opportunities for an extension of the assignment.
Required competence
The role requires good knowledge in mechanical design in CATIA V5 or similar, or experience from a similar maintenance role. It also requires basic skills in agile methods, and the ability to act as the enabler of a good communication between the business and IT teams. Any background from system work rather than design work is desired, but the most important thing is that you want to work with developing our new PLM platform.
For this role, we want somebody that can lead the work independently and take an improvement from end user requirement all through the process until it is a released, tested function in our software platform. You can also lead people to some extent.
Previous experience from Scania is a plus, and for this role we look for a communicative profile with a desire to work in close cooperation with IT.

Your tasks
The aim for this role is to strongly contribute to the further development and deployment of Scania’s strategy and digital capabilities for our 2025 perspective within the Industrial domain – ie. Research & Development, Purchasing and Production & Logistics.

The main tasks are the following


• Be part of a team of Digital strategists serving four dimensions of Scania business – your focus will be on the digitalization of the Industrial domain.
• Contribute to keeping the team members and Scania leaders up to date regarding relevant digital trends and developments
• Together with the team, establish and maintain a framework for digital strategy development, covering elements like; trend analyses, benchmarking, identification of digital business opportunities, internal capability analyses, KPI and target setting as well as roadmap definition
• Work together with the team members and Scania leaders to develop our Industry 4.0 strategy in order to support our business ambitions in the best possible way
• Find creative and inspiring ways to communicate the digital strategy to various key stakeholders across Scania in order to ensure understanding and adoption of the strategy

Your profile


• You have a Master’s degree or equivalent and 5+ years of experience working with digital enhancements of processes within an Industrial context (preferably within R&D, Supply Chain or Production in a manufacturing company)
• You have experience in participating in strategy/process development and are skilled in developing business cases and driving workshops as well as performing internal and external business analysis
• You understand the Operational Technology landscape and ideally has experience in empowering it with Information Technology
• You are a highly valued team player and excellent communicator – you are good at explaining complex dependencies in an easy to understand way
• You keep updated on latest digital trends and are familiar with agile software development methods

Assignment
