Who You Are

Your Challenge

In this position, you will lead both strategic and operational aspects of safety for autonomous vehicles. You will manage safety cases, documentation, and compliance efforts with international standards such as ISO 26262 and SOTIF. The Team and Workplace

You will be joining a dedicated and tight Onroad Safety team, currently consisting of 6–7 members, all experts in the autonomous domain. The atmosphere is dynamic and collaborative, and the team works closely with colleagues in Munich and Chicago to drive safety innovation together.

The position is preferably based in Södertälje, with flexibility for hybrid work (minimum two days per week in the office). You may also be based in Chicago or Munchen.

About You

We are looking for someone with a solid background in functional safety and a strong interest in autonomous technology. You have deep knowledge in ISO 26262 and SOTIF, and you feel confident navigating complex safety challenges in an international context. You probably have a technical university degree and several years of hands-on safety engineering experience.



To succeed in this role, you need to be structured, proactive, and communicative. You have an analytical mindset, easily see critical details, and are used to taking responsibility for both strategy and execution. Assignment

As a functional safety manager at motion control your mission is to plan and coordinate the work with different stakeholders to ensure the developed products comply with ISO26262. The task is very diverse and includes planning and synchronization between different competence teams, like software and hardware developers, method developers, and project/product managers. This is an assignment in a dynamic environment where both external and internal changes occur frequently and need to be accounted for or mitigated.

Your profile

You probably have a master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent and a couple of years of experience working with embedded systems, likely in leading and coordinating roles like scrum master or project manager. We believe that you have come in contact with the ISO26262 standard and have some concrete experience with its artifacts, preferably when working with safety-critical mechatronic products. Now you are ready to take the next step in becoming a technical leader and develop a deeper understanding of functional safety. Thus you are a person who likes to challenge yourself and naturally develop your competence according to the needs of your job. 
You are comfortable with taking the lead and despite constantly changing conditions, set a way forward. Assignment

As a functional safety manager at motion control your mission is to plan and coordinate the work with different stakeholders to ensure the developed products comply with ISO26262. The task is very diverse and includes planning and synchronization between different competence teams, like software and hardware developers, method developers, and project/product managers. This is an assignment in a dynamic environment where both external and internal changes occur frequently and need to be accounted for or mitigated.

Your profile

You probably have a master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent and a couple of years of experience working with embedded systems, likely in leading and coordinating roles like scrum master or project manager. We believe that you have come in contact with the ISO26262 standard and have some concrete experience with its artifacts, preferably when working with safety-critical mechatronic products. Now you are ready to take the next step in becoming a technical leader and develop a deeper understanding of functional safety. The team and what we do
At the "Electrification System Management" team, we are responsible for Scania's built-in battery monitoring and acclimatization systems for high-voltage batteries. These batteries are crucial for a sustainable transport system and Scania’s aim to reach the science-based targets. They go into our battery electric vehicles (BEV’s) etc.
All of us working here are committed to this and it’s a natural part of what we do.
The systems have completely proprietary functions and software. The team currently has about 12 employees who have extensive experience with the overall system and security responsibility.

The job

Together with the other cybersecurity analysts, you will be part of a core team whose main objective is to monitor for anomalies, and identifying potential threats to our vehicles. This team is also responsible for developing and adjusting its own tool set. A part of this is implementing triggers for cybersecurity events, as well as:


• continuously improve triage algorithms based on trigger specifications in collaboration with other analysts and internal customers
• define and decide on possible preliminary mitigating actions
• threat hunting/threat intelligence to proactively prevent incidents
• support forensic analysis of cybersecurity incidents

The skills

The ideal candidate should have a good knowledge of cybersecurity and an interest in automotive technology and various communication protocols, as well as have an analytical mindset and sense of detail.

In addition to this, you have:


• Experience in data analysis on large datasets, preferably using , R, or Pandas
• Hands-on experience with one or several scripting languages, preferably Python
• Experience in interpreting ISO standards within cybersecurity and the information security area, preferably ISO 21434. Knowledge of UNECE R155 is meritorious.

As a person, you are good at collaborating, are structured, and have the ability to set up and keep deadlines, as well as show good judgment under time pressure. You feel comfortable motivating your work and explaining your findings to other teams and functions.

Som EL-säkerhetskoordinator kommer du att arbeta verksamhetsnära och agera aktivt för att tillsammans med gruppens övriga koordinatorer inom Arbetsmiljö, VCB-SHE, Brandsäkerhet & Kem/ Miljöskydd, identifiera och analysera avvikelser inom El-säkerhetsområdet.

Du kommer att skapa och vara sammanhållande vid genomförande av nödvändiga aktiviteter för att åtgärda eller undvika avvikelserna med syfte att nå visionen ”noll tillbud och olyckor”.

Omvärldsbevakning ingår i denna roll vilket betyder en del resor till andra företag som har samma utmaningar som Scania inom EL-säkerhets området.

Som EL-säkerhetskoordinator är du ansvarig för R&Ds; EL-organisation som idag uppgår till ca 100 personer.

I rollen ingår också elsäkerhetsansvaret VCB för R&D.

Arbetsuppgifter


• Vara kompetensbärare på R&D gällande EL-säkerhet, och fungera som support och stöd till chefer och medarbetare.
• Känna till och bevaka förändringar i lagar och andra krav inom EL-säkerhet . 
• Vara delaktig i att skapa, utveckla, aktuellhålla samt kommunicera Scanias centrala och R&D:s lokala arbetssätt.
• Utbilda och vägleda verksamheten i R&D:s lokala arbetssätt och riktlinjer för EL-säkerhet.
• Agera kontaktperson i EL-säkerhetsfrågor gentemot tillsynsmyndigheter, skyddsombud, företagshälsovården, hälsoteamet etc.
• Efterfråga i verksamheten så att nödvändiga riskbedömningar och riskanalyser utförs samt säkerställa tillbuds- och olycksfallsrapporteringar och utredningar fungerar.

 Kompetenskrav


• Behörig elektriker eller elingenjör ha mycket god kunskap om svensk arbetsmiljölagstiftning
• Du behöver ha god kunskap om ELSÄK-FS 2021:7 och motsvarande regelverk.
• Du behöver ha kunskap om Arbetsmiljölagen och erfarenhet av arbete med elektriska system.
• Meriterande är om du har erfarenhet av elsäkerhetsarbete inom ex. verkstadsindustrin.
• Erfarenhet av arbetsmiljöarbete inom verkstadsindustrin är meriterande.
• God kunskap om el-fara.
• God kunskap om elektrifierade fordon

Your role as a Data Protection Specialist
This role is the leading force behind Scania’s data protection, driving platform improvements from start to finish and securing service quality. Working with a technically large and multinational environment in a growing company. Your main responsibilities will include:


• Development and improvements of Scania’s Data Protection platform and service delivery, covering both on-prem data centers and public cloud providers

Vill du vara med och stärka informations- och IT-säkerheten på ett av landets akutsjukhus? Södertälje Sjukhus AB söker nu en informationssäkerhetssamordnare med placering i Södertälje.

I uppdraget ingår även rollen som dataskyddsombud (DSO).

Som informationssäkerhetssamordnare har du en övergripande och samordnande roll för sjukhusets informationssäkerhetsarbete. Du ansvarar för införande och förvaltning av sjukhusets lokala ledningssystem för informationssäkerhet i enlighet med regionens riktlinjer och vägledningar inom området. Here you will be part of the department within R&D that is working with Scania’s Embedded platform.
