This role is a part of TRATON Group R&D, located in Södertälje, Sweden

We are looking for a Test Leader – Central Coordination to join our agile, cross-functional team. In this role, you will lead and coordinate testing activities across the entire software development cycle, from concept to release in real vehicles. You will ensure that our embedded real-time systems meet the highest quality standards while supporting your colleagues with best practices in testing. By representing the team in change control and cross-functional forums, you will play a key part in driving continuous improvement and enabling safe, innovative solutions in Scania’s trucks and buses.

Who You Are
You are an experienced test professional with a solid background in embedded systems and a genuine passion for quality assurance. You have strong communication and collaboration skills, allowing you to represent the team effectively in cross-functional forums. You have a M.Sc. in Engineering (e.g., embedded systems, mechatronics, computer science, electronics) or equivalent work experience, which has given you deep technical expertise, and you are comfortable working hands-on in test environments such as SIL, HIL, and complete vehicles. You thrive in an agile and collaborative setting, and you are fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Arbetsuppgifter och ansvar Som säkerhetssamordnare med inriktning mot informationssäkerhet blir du en nyckelperson i Telge Näts nyetablerade säkerhetsenhet. Enheten ansvarar för att samordna, stödja och följa upp säkerhetsarbetet inom hela bolaget. I rollen får du ett övergripande ansvar för att samordna, driva och vidareutveckla informationssäkerhetsarbetet strategiskt och operativt i nära samarbete med säkerhetschefen och andra nyckelpersoner i organisationen.

We are looking for a Mandarin speaking Assignment Manager within complete vehicle testing at a Technical Centre in Södertälje. Start is ASAP, 1 year contract to begin with.
The team manages a fleet of vehicles running in different types of tests, both internally and on public roads. Tests are carried out to detect deviations in hardware and software. When deviations occur, the responsibilities of this role include:
• Leading and coordinating the work in gathering relevant information regarding deviations.
• Engaging relevant stakeholders based on the collected information.
• Leading and coordinating root cause analyses and identifying short-term actions. This is especially critical for safety-related deviations and those directly affecting test execution.
• Requesting fast feedback from workstreams to resolve deviations efficiently.
In addition, this role will lead and coordinate investigations regarding new introductions and is expected to handle short- to medium-term tasks not directly connected to daily operations, as well as lead improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities
Your main focus will be our e-mobility solutions but experience within combustion engines are beneficial as we have field tests for both hybrids and combustion engines within our teams responsibility. Tasks within your role will be various testing and managing of our data loggers and measurement equipment fitted on our field test carriers. Cross functional cooperation including planning and coordination as well as data collection/analysis will be other parts of your responsibilities. Furthermore to develop, maintain and enhance test methodologies while building up the field test frameworks.

The team is responsible for Power Solutions test operations which includes preparing our test units, perform HW tests as well as running and maintaining all our field tests. We also support our in-house test beds to ensure a smooth and efficient R&D operation. Out on the field today we currently have both Internal combustion engines, hybrid e-mobility solutions and will soon start our first Battery Electric Vehicle field test. What we do
We collaborate through an agile and cross-functional setup including TRATON, the departments Research & Development (R&D), Production, Sales & Marketing and Purchasing to develop the charging system and power distribution on our Battery Electrical Vehicles (BEV).
You belong to the Group R&D organization and be a part of the testing and verification team. Your task will be to lead the testing and troubleshooting of the charging services and integration of software on a complete vehicle level to make sure that the charging for the customer is a non-experience.

Your tasks
As a Test developer, you will be responsible for ensuring that Scania’s electrified vehicles fulfils the standard when it comes to charging and meet the necessary requirements. You will work closely with our own and other cross-functional teams to ensure that the vehicles are tested and verified.

Key responsibilities:
Develop and maintain test methods for the charging system within Scania’s electrified vehicles
Perform testing of charging functionalities in close collaboration with the development team
Ensure that Hardware and Software of the charging system work flawless with public charging stations
Work with external certification stakeholders to ensure that Scania’s electrified vehicles are certified according to the relevant standards.
Provide guidance and support R&D in analyzing charging related issues from Scania electrified vehicles
Support sales and marketing and customers with field quality issues related to charging


Qualifications:
Master or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience with charging communication protocols.
Experience with charging testing on vehicle level.
Experience with software testing in a complete vehicle level.
Experience with Vector tool environment (CANoe, CANalyzer).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Som sluttestingenjör (End-of-line test engineer) ska du säkerställa kvalitet och tillförlitlighet hos batteripaket och moduler innan de når avdelningens kunder. Som en integrerad del av produktionsprocessen kommer du att vara ansvarig för att genomföra noggranna sluttester och hjälpa till med att leverera högkvalitativa produkter som driver framtidens elektriska mobilitet.
Huvudansvarsområden
Testplanering:
Samarbeta med R&D-team för att utveckla omfattande testplaner och procedurer för sluttestning.
Definiera och anskaffa den nödvändiga testutrustningen, mätinstrument och datainsamlingssystem enligt företagets investeringsprocess.

Testutförande:
Utför rigorösa sluttester på batteripaket och moduler, enligt etablerade testplaner och procedurer.
Utför funktionella, prestanda- och säkerhetstester för att bedöma elektriska egenskaper, laddnings- och urladdningsförmåga, temperaturtolerans, spänningsreglering och övergripande tillförlitlighet.

Felsökning och problemåtgärd:
Samarbete nära med tvärfunktionella team, inklusive konstruktionsingenjörer och tekniker, för att felsöka och åtgärda eventuella problem eller fel som uppstår under testningen.

Kvalitetssäkring:
Bidra till utvecklingen och förbättringen av kvalitetskontrollprocesser och procedurer.
Samarbete med kvalitetsteamet och R&D för att säkerställa överensstämmelse med branschstandarder, kundkrav och regleringsriktlinjer.

Dokumentation och rapportering:
Upprätthåll korrekta och aktuella register över testprocedurer, resultat och eventuella ändringar som görs i testprocessen.
Förbered klara och koncisa rapporter som sammanfattar testresultat och kommunicera dem effektivt till relevanta intressenter.

Dataanalys:
Samla och analysera testdata med olika verktyg och programvarusystem.
Utvärdera resultaten mot definierade specifikationer och standarder för att identifiera avvikelser och generera omfattande testrapporter med tydliga resultat och rekommendationer.

Kravspecifikation
Utbildning:
Civilingenjör, helst inom elektroteknik eller ett relaterat område.

Erfarenhet:
Grundläggande förståelse för batteriteknik och elektriska system.
Förmåga att använda oscilloskop, multimeter och andra elektriska testinstrument för felsökning.
Erfarenhet av arbete inom industriell teknik.
Erfarenhet av CAN-kommunikation (t.ex. INCA, CANalyzer) är en fördel.

The electrical systems within our trucks and buses are growing rapidly in both size and complexity due to technological advancements. This creates higher demands on our electrical control units (ECUs) as well as new challenges regarding verifying their robustness. Your new job

With the target of developing vehicles with robust electrical characteristics, we test our electrical components and installations concerning both the electrical and mechanical environments. As a test engineer, we also want you to be part of developing our demands for the electronics within the vehicles and then be a key player in making sure those demands are fulfilled.

 

Our team works to understand the entire electrical system and then verify it on a component level. Typical components are ECUs, smart cameras, and smart antennas.

The vast majority of our testing is performed in our internal environmental and electrical laboratories and the aim is to be sure that the components will maintain their expected functionality during the expected life length.  

 

As a test engineer, you will work on projects where you will be responsible for both establishing the test demands as well as performing and analyzing the tests, coordinating with the organization as well as our suppliers, and review our supplier's own testing.

 

You will gain a grand network within Scania and the TRATON group since we work closely with both system and function owners.

 

We work in teams where everyone must contribute with both experience, knowledge, spirit, and cooperation. We have a major focus on always improving our technologies and working methods.

About you

We believe you have either a bachelor's or master’s degree in electronics, mechatronics, or similar. • Acting as a coach towards development engineers and testing engineers within the system test domain
• Assessing test needs, evaluating and compiling results per test assignment
• Recommending an approval level and production setting based on summaries of test reports at system test level
• Driving the shift towards change of processes and methods

Your tasks

As a Test Developer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the software in the powertrain control system by defining the way the software is to be tested. Another important aspect is that we use different test environments such as SIL, HIL, and vehicles and we try new methods and ideas to constantly find better ways to verify the products of the future.

OM ROLLEN
Som mjukvarutestare hos vår kund inom elektrifieringsdelen av batterier till lastbilar och bussar har du en bred uppsättning arbetsuppgifter och ansvarsområden. Dessa inkluderar:

-Testning i HIL-miljö (Hardware in the Loop): Du ansvarar för att utföra tester i en HIL-miljö där du använder hårdvara i en laptop för att simulera olika scenarier och beteenden. Du skriver kod i Python för att definiera signaler och automatisera testprocessen.

-SIL-testning (Software in the Loop): Du utför SIL-tester där du använder testskript för att validera mjukvaran. I vissa fall kan det vara nödvändigt att testa på fordon för att få en komplett bild av systemets prestanda och beteende.

-Kravhantering och testning: Du kommer att samarbeta med teamet för att analysera och förstå kravspecifikationer och sedan utföra tester för att säkerställa att mjukvaran uppfyller dessa krav.

About the position
We are now looking for a Test Leader to our client, a world-leading supplier of transport solutions that together with its customers and partners are driving the transition to a sustainable transport system. You will be part of the project leading group together with the Product Owner, Project Manager and Solution Architect and work closely with our expert users and process owners as well as other HR- and business stakeholders. You will be working partly remote and partly from the office based in Södertälje.
Your daily tasks
As a Test Leader, you will be supporting the development of an internal application for blue-collar workers. Your main focus will be providing expertise within the test area, with overall responsibility for performance-and user-acceptance testing of the solution as well as process- and data quality tests and overall test management. Your responsibilities also include:
Head responsible for planning, managing and documenting all testing activities in regard to solution as well as stakeholder management in regards to the testing procedures.
You work in line with the Software Development Process, which is based on lean thinking and agile practices, with agile test methods being particularly important. Your work area includes planning, strategy work, risk analysis, risk assessment, design and implementation, test scripting and scheduling as well as test reporting.

Your characteristics
To succeed in this role, we believe you have good leadership skills, are self-driven and able to work in fast-paced project environments. You are outgoing and possess strong social skills which comes in handy in this communicative role. We also think you are well-organized and enjoy working both individually and in a team.

This affects how about 1000 employees are working with the development of Scania´s electrical and embedded systems.     

One important factor for this to succeed is to have clear structures, processes and information management in place. The transformation within Embedded Systems means that the present way of working needs to be challenged and updated. Today legal requirements in this area are also increasing, for example, SUMS (Software Update Management system) and CSMS (Cyber Security Management System).

Our team

Embedded Method development team is fresh and growing fast. Together with all co-workers involved in embedded processes and tools, we either improve existing methods or develop new ones that are used across the organization. With a high focus on safety and quality, we aim to increase the speed of our product development work, without jeopardizing the premium level of Scania products. The team is currently working in a modern workflow both remotely and in the office.

Your new job

You will work cross-functionally in close collaboration with testers, business architects, and the TMS tool developers who are responsible for tool implementation and low-level architecture.

Examples of work tasks:


• Propose what new functionality, including user interface, should look like and how existing functionality can be improved
• Elaborate on requirements for the functionality
• Discuss proposal/requirements with testers, tool developers, method developers etc.
• Test new functionality when implemented in the Test Management Tool (TMT)
• Support testers and test leaders on how to use TMT

You will work with all functional areas within the Test Management Process. Examples of areas:


• Define test specification and process
• Support for running tests, such as test suite generation and managing test iterations
• Support for documenting and analyzing test results
• Support for a test leader such as tracking progress and generating test reports 

Your profile


To succeed in this role you are experienced in the testing of embedded systems and if you have good knowledge of ISO26262 it is an advantage. It is required to have good knowledge of ISTQB foundation level (advanced level test analyst is meritorious). You are also experienced in using test management systems.

Your ability to see the whole picture and how different parts within the test management system interact will be an asset in this role. At the same time, you see the importance of getting things right and working meticulously with details. As a person, you are truly interested in other people’s opinions to understand the needs of different testers and propose solutions. You value collaborations and have strong interpersonal skills.

Rollen som Testingenjör

Som Testingenjör får du en bred kunskap om fordonens styrsystem och en bra överblick över hur olika funktioner hänger ihop i mjukvaran. Här får du också chansen att prova nya metoder och idéer för att hitta bättre och mer effektiva sätt att verifiera framtidens produkter.

Som Testingenjörer arbetar du med systemtester för mjukvara. Du granskar krav, skapar testfall och skriver testscript för automatiska testfall. Testningen genomförs både i rigg (SIL och HIL) och i fordon (lastbil och buss). Analys av resultat samt att utveckla och förbättra både strategier och metoder ingår också. Vi samarbetar tätt ihop med mjukvaruutvecklare och systemägare för att på ett effektivt sätt förbättra mjukvaran och leverera en kvalitativ produkt till våra kunder.

Är du den vi söker?

Vi söker dig med några års erfarenhet av liknande roll och ser gärna att du som person är ansvarstagande, strukturerad och trygg med att ta egna beslut. • Develop test plans and test cases for simulation test scenarios (for offboard teams) and identify potential areas of improvement

The electrical systems within our trucks and buses are growing rapidly in both size and complexity due to technological advancements. This creates higher demands on our electrical control units (ECU’s) as well as new challenges regarding methods for verifying their robustness. Your new job
With the target to develop vehicles with robust electrical characteristics, we test our electrical components and installations with respect to both the electrical and mechanical environments. In the role of test leader for our automated testing, you will be developing new methods and ways of working. About you

About the role
The Lead Software Engineer in Test is responsible for providing the technical leadership for all testing of our backend platform that is the backbone for all our Patient and Health Care Professional digital products.
This is both a hands-on and strategic role. The successful candidate will define the strategy and leading the Software Engineers in Test for ensuring the delivery of our backend with high quality, where automation is the essential theme. It covers every aspect of testing, e.g., everything from application unit tests to non-functional and infrastructure tests.

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.The Software Factory at Scanias R&D department, including embedded development, is undergoing a large transformation right now becoming more flow-oriented to be faster with even better quality! This affects how about 1000 employees are working with the development of Scania´s electrical and embedded systems.     

One important factor for this to succeed is to have clear structures, processes and information management in place. The transformation within Embedded Systems means that the present way of working needs to be challenged and updated. Today legal requirements in this area are also increasing, for example, SUMS (Software Update Management system) and CSMS (Cyber Security Management System).

Our team

Embedded Method development team is fresh and growing fast. Together with all co-workers involved in embedded processes and tools, we either improve existing methods or develop new ones that are used across the organization. With a high focus on safety and quality, we aim to increase the speed of our product development work, without jeopardizing the premium level of Scania products. The team is currently working in a modern workflow both remotely and in the office.

Your new job

You will work cross-functionally in close collaboration with testers, business architects, and the TMS tool developers who are responsible for tool implementation and low-level architecture.

Examples of work tasks:


• Propose what new functionality, including user interface, should look like and how existing functionality can be improved
• Elaborate on requirements for the functionality
• Discuss proposal/requirements with testers, tool developers, method developers etc.
• Test new functionality when implemented in the Test Management Tool (TMT)
• Support testers and test leaders on how to use TMT

You will work with all functional areas within the Test Management Process. Examples of areas:


• Define test specification and process
• Support for running tests, such as test suite generation and managing test iterations
• Support for documenting and analyzing test results
• Support for a test leader such as tracking progress and generating test reports 

Your profile


To succeed in this role you are experienced in the testing of embedded systems and if you have good knowledge of ISO26262 it is an advantage. It is required to have good knowledge of ISTQB foundation level (advanced level test analyst is meritorious). You are also experienced in using test management systems.

Your ability to see the whole picture and how different parts within the test management system interact will be an asset in this role. At the same time, you see the importance of getting things right and working meticulously with details. As a person, you are truly interested in other people’s opinions to understand the needs of different testers and propose solutions. You value collaborations and have strong interpersonal skills.

Your role

We work in an agile environment based on SAFE and need a combined Scrum master and QA engineer/test developer for one of our teams.  

While working in our team you gain comprehensive knowledge of the gearbox management system, a good overview of how the functions are connected in the software, and how the functions interact with the vehicle. The work consists of a big variety of tasks; such as analysis of requirements, development of test cases and scripts for verification of new functionality, and performing tests in both vehicles and simulated environments. You will also be responsible for planning and coordinating these and other activities in sprints.

 

Your profile

You can quickly familiarize yourself with advanced problems with a desire to find creative solutions together with your colleagues. As the job involves many interfaces, you are responsive to various inputs and have no difficulties making new contacts. You are good with planning and organizing with a service-minded approach.

You are experienced in programming and software development, preferably in an agile environment with Jira. Powertrain knowledge is meriting.

You have a relevant university education or similar and you are fluent in English in both speech and writing. Communication skills in Swedish are meriting.

Dina arbetsuppgifter som testsamordnare kommer innebära att ansvara för att de föremål som ska testas levereras till oss i tid och är i rätt status. Detta inkluderar både att modifiera befintliga lastbilar och att bygga prototyper. Du kommer även att ansvara för att samordna testet som utförs på externa testinstitut i Sverige och utomlands. Om du är intresserad kan du också ha möjlighet att utföra några tester själv. Metodutveckling är en naturlig del av arbetet och innebär att förbättra våra metoder och processer. Jobbet innebär frekvent interaktion med våra designgrupper, projektkontoret och andra testgrupper.
