Our team is primarily focused on testing the new Digital Dashboard to ensure that the software meets our company's quality objectives. We are responsible for testing systems and functions in areas such as Infotainment and Driver Display.?

The group comprises four different teams: System, Vehicle, and Function Test teams, as well as the Defect Management team. Job responsibilities 

For this role, you will be expected to perform function tests in the vehicle as well as coordinate vehicle tests with other departments at TRATON.

Job activities:
* Troubleshoot and solve the problems that might arise with the vehicle's update
* Perform tests in the Instrument Cluster and Infotainment system
* Define and maintain test cases
* Analyse the results and report deviations
* Perform vehicle safety tests
* Contribute to establishing testing methods and processes within the department


Who you are

* Experienced heavy vehicle driver (C-Licence)
* Experience in automotive SW Testing
* Solid experience working with vehicle communication protocols such as CAN
* Experienced in troubleshooting in the vehicle environment

As a System Tester, you and your colleague's main responsibility will be to test new functionality in simulation, test rigs, and in our prototype vehicles both on test tracks and public roads.

You will be part of the development teams or test teams and therefore have a tight dialogue with our in-house developers as well as with our partners.  

Our development sprints include all activities from requirement handling to in-vehicle testing, through all stages of testing and simulations. 

Your background 

You have work experience in software testing, preferably in the automotive domain. As a person, you should like complex challenges and troubleshooting, have excellent communication skills, be able to handle a dynamic environment, and be self-organized and proactive. 

On top of this, we also value if you have experience: 
* from the automotive industry, preferably heavy vehicles 
* with software development 
* working within vehicle communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, SomeIP, etc 
* in Testing levels and methodologies 
* with Jira, Confluence, Gitlab 
* in programming/test automation, preferably Python, C++, and Kotlin.

At the Department of Connected Systems, more than 200 R&D professionals work on enabling solutions from the vehicle-mounted telematics unit, via telecom networks, to the Scania service platform in the cloud.

Scania today has over 600,000+ vehicles and other products connected online. The department is now looking for a Cyber Security tester for the telematics unit in the truck.

What you will do

You will be working as a Cyber Security tester in the QA team to develop, maintain, and execute our  Cyber Security test suite for our connectivity unit. The test suite is performed on a bench and is mainly automated but also includes manual testing in some cases. The test suite needs to be maintained and updated, and run on every release. 

Who you are

You are an experienced software tester, preferably within embedded systems. Cyber Security knowledge is critical for this position. You are well-structured and keen on delivering high-quality and secure product. Agile development and continuous deployment are well-known and appreciated techniques to you. Good communication skills and a drive to listen to and assist your colleagues will benefit you, as there will be a lot of personal interactions.

You most likely have a formal engineering degree in software, electrical, or computer science, or equivalent experience. Knowledge in the areas of IoT/connectivity and/or the electrical system of (heavy) vehicles is a great advantage for this role.

What we do
We collaborate through an agile and cross-functional setup including TRATON, the departments Research & Development (R&D), Production, Sales & Marketing and Purchasing to develop the charging system and power distribution on our Battery Electrical Vehicles (BEV).
You belong to the Group R&D organization and be a part of the testing and verification team. Your task will be to lead the testing and troubleshooting of the charging services and integration of software on a complete vehicle level to make sure that the charging for the customer is a non-experience.

Your tasks
As a Test developer, you will be responsible for ensuring that Scania’s electrified vehicles fulfils the standard when it comes to charging and meet the necessary requirements. You will work closely with our own and other cross-functional teams to ensure that the vehicles are tested and verified.

Key responsibilities:
Develop and maintain test methods for the charging system within Scania’s electrified vehicles
Perform testing of charging functionalities in close collaboration with the development team
Ensure that Hardware and Software of the charging system work flawless with public charging stations
Work with external certification stakeholders to ensure that Scania’s electrified vehicles are certified according to the relevant standards.
Provide guidance and support R&D in analyzing charging related issues from Scania electrified vehicles
Support sales and marketing and customers with field quality issues related to charging


Qualifications:
Master or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience with charging communication protocols.
Experience with charging testing on vehicle level.
Experience with software testing in a complete vehicle level.
Experience with Vector tool environment (CANoe, CANalyzer).

Your tasks

As a Test Developer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the software in the powertrain control system by defining the way the software is to be tested. Another important aspect is that we use different test environments such as SIL, HIL, and vehicles and we try new methods and ideas to constantly find better ways to verify the products of the future.

The Team

The group Autonomous Function Simulation Test is responsible for independent testing at higher test levels, to ensure the safety and function of the autonomous transport solutions. We are currently spending significant effort on a Scenario Based Approach strategy, to ensure that the system is safe in an environment where it is impossible to control other road users or predict everything that could happen. We are a mature team, consisting of eight test engineers that work closely together on everything from defining test strategies to performing tests in simulated environments. We highly value the psychologically safe work environment that we have today and spend a lot of effort maintaining it.

About the position

You will work in a dynamic environment, with a focus on tests in simulation environments. For autonomous vehicles, simulation-based testing means simulating the world and actors around the vehicle, as well as re-simulating logs from vehicle testing.

The work will include test analysis, development of new test cases for our Software In the Loop (SIL) environment, follow-up results in close cooperation with the developers, gathering of KPIs (Key Performance Index) and metrics, and reporting of results. It will also involve setting tool requirements and evaluating new tools in cooperation with our tools team. Further, you will work cross-functionally with the development of our test strategies, processes, and work methods, to help ensure test coverage, safety, and functionality.

This is a test engineer multi-match, where we have to prove that our system is safe, and can operate on public roads. It is not just about connecting tests to traditional requirements but also considering test coverage of operational design domains, and testing systems with artificial intelligence. We have to show that our product can detect and classify all objects, and can handle all traffic situations, with an unlimited number of things that might occur, including unknowns we will never be able to eliminate.

Who are we looking for

You have a technical university degree. Experience in software testing, functional testing of embedded systems, or similar is a merit, but not a prerequisite. As a person, you should like complex challenges, be interested in learning new things, and not be intimidated by the fact that our way of working is constantly developing.

To fit this position you should be thorough and have an eye for details. You are humble, but not afraid to share your opinion. Din roll

Vi jobbar i agila team där alla delar av utvecklingen finns representerad i teamet. I rollen som testutvecklare bidrar du till att tidigt testa ny funktioner som implementeras och säkerställa kvalitet för de området teamet ansvarar för. Genom ett nära samarbete med funktionutvecklare får man en omfattande kunskap om växellådsstyrsystemet och en bra överblick över hur funktionerna hänger ihop både i mjukvaran och i fordonet. 

Som testutvecklare ansvarar du för både utveckling av nya systemtest samt analys av resultat från regressionstestomgångar för ditt område. Testningen görs både i simulerad miljö (HIL/SIL) samt i fordon och ditt arbete innefattar test både för konventionella och elektrifierade drivlinor.

 

Om dig

För att lyckas i denna roll har du en ingenjörsbakgrund alternativt förvärvat dig motsvarande kunskap inom området på annat sätt. Du har programmeringserfarenhet och har arbetat med test av inbyggda system. Förståelse för tung drivlina är meriterande. Körkort för personbil är ett krav och det kommer ligga i din utvecklingsplan att ta tunga behörigheterna. 

Du är en lagspelare som inte är rädd för nya utmaningar och vågar kommunicera över gränserna. I det agila teamet är det du som testar men i det finns en grupp med testare i linjen där ni tillsammans kan utveckla testning.

Professionals Nord is now looking for a calculation engineer within simulation and acoustics, on behalf of our client to join the Fluid Dynamics and Acoustic simulation team. The position is a part of our staffing, and you will be employed by Professionals Nord. You will work as a consultant at our client for a 12-month period. Provided that the collaboration works well, the ambition is a transition to an employment directly with our client.

Job duties
In the role as a calculation engineer, you play an important role in the work, focusing on both early stages of the design process and quality improvements on existing products. Together with a competent and helpful team of 11 people you will be involved during the entire development process, and optimize the design with a focus on acoustic performance. Among other things, the work entails:

• Develop and streamline CAE methods to meet legal requirements, comfort, sustainability and budget.
• Calibrate the test and simulation methods and provide input to the development and verification teams.
• Work with various cross-functional with, for example, design groups to recieve a basic understanding of the product
• Conduct dialogues with the customer and internal teams to move the efficiency and quality work forward

The group is working closely with a various types of projects for the truck´s components, such as exhaust after treatment, air intake and HVAC systems. The role

As a Test Engineer, you will acquire extensive knowledge of the vehicle management system and gain a good overview of the interaction between the various software functions. You will also have an opportunity to try out new methods and ideas for finding better and more effective ways of verifying future products.

As a Test Engineer, you will work on software system testing. You will inspect requirements, create test cases and write test scripts for automatic test cases. Testing will be carried out both on test rigs (SIL and HIL) and in vehicles (trucks and buses). The role also covers analysing results and developing and improving strategies and methods. We work closely with our software developers and system owners to effectively improve the software and deliver a high-quality product to our customers.

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in a similar role. Ideally you will be responsible, organised and comfortable making decisions. You have the ability to understand complex problems quickly, as required by the day-to-day work of this role, and appreciate the challenge of finding creative solutions together with your colleagues. Your team and work assignments
You will be part of our Cab team where you will cover a wide range of system testing related activities, from setting up  test benches to validating your system on a test vehicle, from writing test plans to test execution.

However, we are not only looking for test executers. Your findings will immediately be feedbacked to the embedded system designer and implemented in the product design. Your playground will include CAB real-time embedded systems handling for example the HVAC system, door control system or light control. 

Your profile
You are comfortable working in an organisation under build-up, where not everything is in place. You have a curious mindset and are a problem solver that likes to get to the root of the problem. Experience with embedded systems is important. You enjoy working in an international environment and since you will have many international colleagues it is important that you feel comfortable in both written and spoken English. In addition to that, you recognize yourself in the following: 


• You have at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent 
• Knowledge on automotive electronic systems 
• Knowledge of the EE architecture, CAN and UDS protocol

Rollen som Testingenjör

Som Testingenjör får du en bred kunskap om fordonens styrsystem och en bra överblick över hur olika funktioner hänger ihop i mjukvaran. Här får du också chansen att prova nya metoder och idéer för att hitta bättre och mer effektiva sätt att verifiera framtidens produkter.

Som Testingenjörer arbetar du med systemtester för mjukvara. Du granskar krav, skapar testfall och skriver testscript för automatiska testfall. Testningen genomförs både i rigg (SIL och HIL) och i fordon (lastbil och buss). Analys av resultat samt att utveckla och förbättra både strategier och metoder ingår också. Vi samarbetar tätt ihop med mjukvaruutvecklare och systemägare för att på ett effektivt sätt förbättra mjukvaran och leverera en kvalitativ produkt till våra kunder.

Your role

We work in an agile environment based on SAFE and need a combined Scrum master and QA engineer/test developer for one of our teams.  

While working in our team you gain comprehensive knowledge of the gearbox management system, a good overview of how the functions are connected in the software, and how the functions interact with the vehicle. The work consists of a big variety of tasks; such as analysis of requirements, development of test cases and scripts for verification of new functionality, and performing tests in both vehicles and simulated environments. You will also be responsible for planning and coordinating these and other activities in sprints.

 

Your profile

You can quickly familiarize yourself with advanced problems with a desire to find creative solutions together with your colleagues. As the job involves many interfaces, you are responsive to various inputs and have no difficulties making new contacts. You are good with planning and organizing with a service-minded approach.

You are experienced in programming and software development, preferably in an agile environment with Jira. Powertrain knowledge is meriting.

You have a relevant university education or similar and you are fluent in English in both speech and writing. Communication skills in Swedish are meriting.

Rollbeskrivning
I den här rollen som testutvecklare kommer du få arbeta med systemintegrationstest och systemvalidering av givare. Arbetet innebär att huvudsakligen att arbeta med ett safety-projekt med en strukturerad dokumentstruktur utifrån en processmodell. Din uppgift kommer vara att skriva script för automatiserade tester i Python. Scripten används för att styra motorer och frekvensgivare vid testning i testrigg. Viss testning sker även i emulatorer.
Kunden är i uppstartsfasen av en testavdelning, tidigare har testansvaret legat hos utvecklarna, så du kommer komma in i en spännande fas med möjlighet att lära dig mycket. Har du erfarenhet av testutveckling och testutrustning/testriggar sedan innan finns också goda möjligheter att få ta ett större ansvar och vara med i utvecklingen av teststrategier.
Vem är du?
För att trivas i rollen ser vi att du uppfyller någon av följande punkter:

The world is changing. Every day, more of the products around us are connected, digitalized, and made autonomous to give customers and users more value. Transport is one of the industries where development within these areas is moving the fastest.

Our team is focusing on testing what the driver interacts with. We test functions in areas such as Infotainment (HMI) and driver display systems (Instrument Clusters) in trucks and buses, and the embedded systems that control these functions. 

We are looking for a Test Engineer that has a passion for testing, and that will join our motivated test group to meet our customer's needs and exceed their expectations. 

Your new job

As a Test Engineer, your daily work is to analyze requirements and write test cases in Jira. In addition, you will execute manual testing on infotainment and driver display systems in the truck. 

Typical tasks involved:


• Update software in a vehicle, to prepare it for testing and ensure that the vehicle is safe for test track driving.
• Analyse logs and error codes in the truck.
• Proactively analyze current processes and practices and suggest and drive improvements.

Your profile

You have experience in software testing and at least a basic understanding of infotainment (HMI) and driver display in vehicles. Knowledge of different test techniques/methodologies and ISTQB “Foundation test” certification is beneficial.

You probably have a technical education in mechanics or electronics. However, your attitude and eagerness to learn in a creative environment are most important.

As a person, you love being challenged by new situations and complex problems. We hope that you can test the system's functions and limitations with great curiosity and creativity. In your desire to understand the system and its various parts, for instance, you may cause it to crash, in order to draw conclusions from it. You take initiative, are structured, and have the ability to communicate which helps your collaboration with colleagues and other stakeholders.

You have experience driving cars and have a B-license, or even better, you can drive trucks.

Professionals Nord is now looking for a calculation engineer within simulation and acoustics, on behalf of our client to join the Fluid Dynamics and Acoustic simulation team. The position is a part of our staffing, and you will be employed by Professionals Nord. You will work as a consultant at our client for a 12-month period. Provided that the collaboration works well, the ambition is a transition to an employment directly with our client.

Job duties
In the role as a calculation engineer, you play an important role in the work, focusing on both early stages of the design process and quality improvements on existing products. Together with a competent and helpful team of 11 people you will be involved during the entire development process, and optimize the design with a focus on acoustic performance. Among other things, the work entails:

• Develop and streamline CAE methods to meet legal requirements, comfort, sustainability and budget.

The Team
The group Autonomous Function Simulation Test is responsible for independent testing at higher test levels, to ensure safety and function of the autonomous transport solutions. We are currently spending significant effort on a Scenario Based Approach strategy, to ensure that the system is safe in an environment where it is impossible to control other road users, or predict everything that could happen. Today we are a small team consisting of three experienced test engineers that work closely together on everything from defining test strategies to performing tests in simulated environments. We will, however, grow significantly during the coming year and are looking for a couple of new colleauges.

About the position
You will work in a dynamic environment, with a focus on tests in simulation environments. For autonomous vehicles, simulation based testing means simulating the world and actors around the vehicle, as well as re-simulation of logs from vehicle testing where the most challenging part is identifying interesting logs.

The work will include test analysis, development of new test cases for our Software In the Loop (SIL) environment, follow up results in close cooperation with the developers, gathering of KPIs (Key Performance Index) and metrics, and reporting of results. It will also involve setting tool requirements, and evaluating new tools in cooperation with our tools team. Further, you will work cross-functionally with the development of our test strategies, processes and work methods, to help ensure test coverage, safety and functionality.

This is a test engineer multi-match, where we have to prove that our system is safe, and can operate on public roads. It is not just about connecting tests to traditional requirements, but also considering test coverage of operational design domains, and testing systems with artificial intelligence. We have to show that our perception can detect and classify all objects, and that our planner can handle all traffic situations, with an unlimited number of things that might occur, including unknowns we will never be able to eliminate.

Who are we looking for
You have a technical university degree. Experience in software testing, functional testing of embedded systems or similar is a merit, but not a prerequisite. As a person you should like complex challenges, be interested in learning new things, and not be intimidated by the fact that our way of working is constantly developing.

As a Test Engineer, you works with the various tasks described for the position. To fit this position you should be thorough and have an eye for details. You are humble, but not afraid to share your opinion. You also need to be able to work both independently and in a team, solving challenges in close collaboration with colleagues both within your and other teams.

About the position
How to validate autonomous driving system for safety, performance, robustness and functionality is one of the most challenging issue in autonomous driving industry. The traditional distance based approach cannot provide comprehensive assurance evidence. We believe Scenario Based Approach as a promising direction in our work. If we can build up a scenario database with millions of scenarios, select the most critical scenarios for specific validation targets and execute them on the virtual cloud platform in parallel, the simulation testing can provide strong evidence for system assurance. You will be a part of this journey with us.

You will work in a dynamic environment, with a focus on tests in simulation environments. The foundation of this role is to participate the daily work of simulation tool chain. Your focus will be to work on Scenario Based Approach for autonomous driving validation, especially on the data driven methods. You will use data science, machine learning, deep learning and reinforcement learning methods to extract scenarios from data, generate scenarios on maps, search edge cases, cluster scenario groups, data validation and perception performance validation, etc. This work has just started, but we see the huge potential!

The work may also include test analysis, development of new test cases for our Software In the Loop (SIL) environment, following the trend in cutting edge research and implementing advanced metrics for validation. Further, you will work cross-functionally with the development of our test strategies, processes and work methods.

Are you the one we are looking for?
We think you have a Master degree or PhD degree in a technical field such as  Electrical/Aerospace/Computer Engineering, Computer/Data Science, Computer vision, Robotics, Control, Math, Physics, or similar related field.

We hope that you who have at least 3 years of AI/Machine learning related experience, knowledge of Python programming and data driven testing.

It is beneficial if you have knowledge of close loop/open loop simulation, software in the loop (SIL) testing, software verification and validation of safety critical systems.

About the positions 

Test Engineer
Within the group Autonomous Function Test we work with the top most test levels to ensure function and quality of the complete autonomous transport solutions including both vehicles, connected infrastructure and control tower functionality. We work close with developers but also customers and business representatives.  

We are looking for a driven test engineer to be part of our team. You will focus primarily on real world testing with trucks and buses in different environments such as test tracks, public roads and customer sites. A close dialog is needed with both developers, projects and customers in order to ensure we reach our goals.

You will be part of a team with experienced test engineers that work closely together from defining test strategies to performing tests. 

A successful candidate have a technical university degree and at least a few years’ experience from software testing, functional testing of embedded systems or similar. You are a team player and have good communication skills for all cross functional collaboration needs.

Vehicle Engineer
The group Autonomous Vehicle Management are responsible for building, maintaining and setting up autonomous vehicles for internal use or external partner projects. To be able to deliver the best autonomous solution it’s important to have the right vehicles at the right time - that’s why we need to expand in this area with focus on system setup of the autonomous vehicle. 

We are looking for a vehicle engineer that thrives in the variety of tasks it takes to get an autonomous vehicle ready for test. Working hands-on at the vehicle with trouble shooting or system startup while keeping a dialogue with development teams succeeding to deliver the vehicle in time. We work in all development phases which requires creative solutions both practical in the vehicle but also within the organization.  

A successful candidate have a technical university degree and at least a few years’ experience from troubleshooting complex systems both hardware (e.g. wiring diagrams) and software. You are a team player, has a can-do attitude and have good communication skills for all cross functional collaboration needs.

The team
You will be part of a competent and ambitious team, that works agile in sprints and with close contacts with the customers. The team consist of 11 members that works closely together to deliver value for the Scania production units globally.
The applications delivered from the team are tools used for both configuring and testing the Electronic Control Units (ECU) and for testing the whole electrical system in the vehicles.

The competence mix in the team is ranging from development to infrastructure architecture and device management and together with the customers and colleagues from R&D we form a whole eco-system within the quality assurance of the Automotive Electronics area at Scania

In our roadmap we have a vast number of interesting assignments coming up ahead. Some examples are development of cloud services in AWS, introduce support for a Chinees production unit and add a number of new ECU systems related to for example BEV, OTA etc

While increasing the responsibilities in the team we also need to increase our efforts from a quality assurance perspective. Both in terms of adding testing coverage, coordinate testing activities both within the team and in coordination with our customers and also setting up and maintain testing equipment in our new office facilities.

Your mission
You will be a core part of a team that develop and maintain tools used on the actual production line globally.

You will be responsible for the verification and quality assurance including methods, tools, planning, execution and reporting together with coordinating with the acceptance tester in production.

The actual execution of verification activities will be a joint effort between all developers, you and our stakeholders/product owners. You will though be given the full responsibility and mandate to orchestrate the verification activities to reach best possible test coverage and quality of released functionality. This will require a thorough understanding of the implemented solution, the usage and the user experience at our production units.

Our day to day operations consists of complex system structures and a variety of vehicle configurations and third party systems, which we connect to and harvest data from. We thrive to utilize digitalization to maximize efficiency and minimize waste for the clients and other key stakeholders.

Your profile
You have worked for minimum 3+ years with quality assurance and test driven development. You are comfortable in coordinating test activities between both developers and customers/expert users and you have the ability to drive and push for expanding the testing area towards agreed goals and roadmaps. You have a solid foundation in common methods and tools within the testing area like Jira (Zephyr), API testing with Postman etc

Experience with development/test of cloud services via AWS would be meritorious as well Test Automation experiences. We are aiming for using Kibana as a logging tool for our system, so the knowledge with this system is also a merit.

You like to work iteratively in close contact with customers and colleagues and you are skilled at communicating and thereby create a good understanding as a basis for creating value. You keep your focus when working with a challenging task or in a challenging environment. You have an agile mindset and are fluent in verbal and written English.

Dina arbetsuppgifter 

Som testutvecklare får du en bred kunskap om styrsystemet för växellåda och en bra överblick över hur funktionerna hänger ihop i mjukvaran. Du ingår dels i test-teamet men även i ett team hos funktions- och mjukvaruutvecklarna för att få närhet till funktionsutvecklingen. En spännande del av jobbet är att du provar nya metoder och idéer för att ständigt hitta bättre sätt att verifiera framtidens produkter.

En typisk vecka som testutvecklare består av en bred variation av arbetsuppgifter, däribland:


• analysera och granska krav samt skapa testfall för verifiering av nya funktioner
• utföra utforskande testning i fordon (lastbil och buss)
• skriva automatiserade testskript för olika testmiljöer
• genomföra test (fordon eller simulerad testmiljö) samt analysera testresultat
• utveckla och förbättra testmetoder, stratiegier och processer för att effektivisera testningen 

 

Din Profil

Du är en nyfiken och driven ingenjör med erfarenhet av programmering och mjukvaruutveckling. Vi ser gärna att du har ett fordonsintresse med generell fordonskunskap och även mer specifik kunskap om drivlinans komponenter är meriterande. Du har europeiskt körkort för bil samt behärskar engelska och svenska i tal och skrift.

För att trivas hos oss tror vi att du är en person som är noggrann och sporras av tekniska utmaningar.
