You will be part of a group of ambitious and enthusiastic cybersecurity testers working on a complete vehicle integration test level. The test scope for the group is the actual vehicle and all possible interfaces to the vehicle.
Your work will be hands-on, and examples of test methods are functional security tests, fuzzing tests, side-channel attacks, and vulnerability scanning. We mix structured test suites and exploratory testing. The testing will be performed on in-house-designed test rigs/platforms and real vehicles.

As a Product Owner at System Test Battery Management System, you need to understand the big picture as well as the technical details, as you are responsible for:

The electrical systems within our trucks and buses are growing rapidly in both size and complexity due to technological advancements. Your new job

With the target of developing vehicles with robust electrical characteristics, we test our electrical components and installations concerning both the electrical and mechanical environments. As a test engineer, we also want you to be part of developing our demands for the electronics within the vehicles and then be a key player in making sure those demands are fulfilled.

 

Our team works to understand the entire electrical system and then verify it on a component level. Typical components are ECUs, smart cameras, and smart antennas.

The vast majority of our testing is performed in our internal environmental and electrical laboratories and the aim is to be sure that the components will maintain their expected functionality during the expected life length.  

 

As a test engineer, you will work on projects where you will be responsible for both establishing the test demands as well as performing and analyzing the tests, coordinating with the organization as well as our suppliers, and review our supplier's own testing.

The role … 

… as Test manager for Battery Production, a cornerstone in Scania's eMobility program, you will plan and follow up tests but also together with both business, IT and suppliers execute tests of different kinds and share the result with stakeholders within Scania.

You will also support the Battery Production when buying new equipment to verify connectivity and signal exchange, this job could be at suppliers site or at our office depending on situation.    

As a key member of the team focusing on battery production you will work closely with Business stakeholders and as this is a cross-functional role you will work with other IT stakeholders including Project Managers, Business Analysts, Line Managers, Product Owners, etc., and resources in other Scania IT departments. Your profile


To succeed in this role you are experienced in the testing of embedded systems and if you have good knowledge of ISO26262 it is an advantage. It is required to have good knowledge of ISTQB foundation level (advanced level test analyst is meritorious). You are also experienced in using test management systems.

Your ability to see the whole picture and how different parts within the test management system interact will be an asset in this role. At the same time, you see the importance of getting things right and working meticulously with details. As a person, you are truly interested in other people’s opinions to understand the needs of different testers and propose solutions. You value collaborations and have strong interpersonal skills.

Who are we as a team?

 We are part of the agile release train developing our mining solution and work both with planning, strategy and hands on testing both in Södertälje and at customers sites. Your role

If you have a university degree in IT or similar education, English knowledge skills both oral and written are a requirement. 

Furthermore, you have leadership, risk analysis, decision making, conflicting resolution, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills. It is important that you understand the business need and communicate/coordinate with respective stakeholders to fulfill the demands. Området ”Uppkopplade Fordon” är en av nyckelkomponenterna i Scanias strategi för ”Driving The Shift”. På Connected Systems (EC) arbetar vi med att möjliggöra lösningar i hela spannet från fordon, via telecom, till Scanias tjänsteplattform i molnet. Det här är en unik möjlighet att forma och förbättra hela test- och verifieringsprocessen för uppkopplade fordon och ta oss till en ny nivå!

Vad du kommer göra

Som testingenjör har du en viktig roll i att säkerställa kvaliteten på våra system, komponenter och tjänster. Ditt främsta ansvarsområde blir vår molnbaserade meddelandeplattform och dess komponenter, men eftersom vi starkt tror på vikten av att testa end-to-end kommer du behöva bygga upp en holistisk vy av hela vårt on board <-> off board system för att kunna vägleda oss till ständig förbättring av våra testfall, teststrategi och testmiljö. Det är ett spännande och utmanande uppdrag då vårt system är utvecklat för att klara >10 000 meddelanden/sek. Prestanda, stabilitet och upp-tid är extremt viktiga faktorer. 

Du kommer också ansvara för förbättring och underhåll av våra riggar och riggkoncept. Uppdraget inbjuder till innovativa idéer och ständiga förbättringar av våra strategier, dokumentation och utvecklingsmiljö. Du erbjuds möjligheten att arbeta korsfunktionellt och organisationsoberoende med testrelaterade frågor. En del av testningen utförs med hjälp av vår IoT-utrustning (lastbilar och bussar), och därför kommer du uppmuntras att minst ta C-körkort hos oss.

Vem du är

För den här rollen bör du vara initiativtagande, kreativ och analytiskt lagd. I den här rollen är det viktigt att ha förståelse för hela värdekedjan och ha djup kunskap i arkitektur av stora system. Du behöver ha erfarenhet från liknande områden, och har en formell civilingenjörsutbildning (eller motsvarande erfarenhet). Kunskap inom cloud computing/IoT/telecom och fordonselsystem är meriterande för denna tjänst. Du måste kunna kommunicera med lätthet i text och tal, på både svenska och engelska.

As an experienced Test Automation Specialist, you will be joining our fantastic team to build the applications for collaboration in Traton Group. We are looking for a member of our team that wants to work in a dynamic production environment where you will lead the factory layout design and perform digital test assemblies for e-Mobility and transmission assembly. Your work assignment

As a Digital Test leader, your main tasks will involve designing factory layout concepts for the projects and you will be the production units representative for the layout tool in the Scania production and logistics forum where you will be associated with the layout development and methods at Scania.

You will be a part of the product development projects in assisting the team with creating concept layouts and detailed layouts for installation and verification of the assembly lines at different stages of the development process.  

It is also required of you to work cross functionally and across the entire product range that includes axles, gearboxes and e-mobility. You will be performing Digital test assemblies including the necessary planning and follow up with your teammates. This is to make sure that the tests have the correct specifications, are carried out in the correct surrounding and that all prerequisites are in place for a successful implementation.

To perform our digital test assemblies, we use R&D’s (Research and Development) digital documentation to ensure implementations with zero deviations and zero accidents. The need for and the demand of digital test assembly is constantly increasing leading to exciting new uses and possibilities.

Till vår kund söker vi en erfaren systemtestledare med kompetens inom testledning på systemnivå, dvs erfarenhet att leda systemtest, ta beslut om rekommendationer för vidare testning, sammanställa testresultat löpande under projekt samt arbeta med förbättringsarbete och processer.

What you will do

You will work closely with system analysts, developers and product owners to be able to write test plans and test cases with high level of test coverage for the acceptance criteria of user stories.

You will play an active role in the requirements analysis, design, development, and testing of our applications. Your main responsibility will be to perform system and regression testing and to report and track defects using tools like Jira. You will also be responsible to develop and maintain test automation suites and to evaluate the test results from the daily regression test runs as we strive to get closer to CI/CD.

Din profil

Du är en metodisk och nyfiken civilingenjör inom Maskin, Elektroteknik, Data eller liknande. Erfarenhet och intresse av fordon, programvaruutveckling, systemtest eller motorutveckling är meriterande.

Som person sporras du av tekniska utmaningar. Du har en förmåga att snabbt sätta dig in i avancerade problemställningar med en vilja att hitta kreativa lösningar tillsammans med dina kollegor. Du kan programmera, har körkort för bil samt behärskar engelska i tal och skrift, svenska är meriterande.

Som testutvecklare får du en bred kunskap om motorns och efterbehandlingens styrsystem och får en bra överblick över hur funktioner hänger ihop i mjukvaran. Jobbet är omväxlande och kräver god samarbetsförmåga inom hela utvecklingskedjan då all mjukvara för drivlinan utvecklas in-house hos Scania. De kontaktnät du bygger kommer att ge dig goda utvecklingsmöjligheter inom hela organisationen.

Beroende på ditt intresse finns utrymme för att bli expert inom teknikområdet testutveckling eller ta ansvar för en kompetensgrupp och vara ansvarig för planering och leveranser inom kompetensgruppen.

Vi söker just nu dig som brinner extra mycket för att designa testfall för att säkra att mjukvaran för drivlinans styrsystem är lagriktiga och säker. Inom detta teknikområde finns det gott om intellektuella utmaningar för dig som drivs av att metodiskt arbeta med problemlösning och metodförbättring.

 Dina arbetsuppgifter

 Med hjälp av funktionella beskrivningar och funktionskrav analyserar du ny funktionalitet i motor och efterbehandlingsstyrenheterna. Du använder moderna och välkända testtekniker för att designa och implementera regressions systemtester för ny funktionalitet utifrån ett riskbaserat synsätt för att säkerställa att vi har den bästa produkten på marknaden. Vi använder oss av olika testmiljöer så som SIL, HIL samt fordon (lastbil och buss) och du provar nya metoder och idéer för att ständigt hitta bättre sätt att verifiera framtidens produkter. Tjänsten kan innebära ett visst resande då vissa prov sker i varmt/kallt klimat samt höghöjd.

Din profil

Du är en metodisk och nyfiken civilingenjör inom Maskin, Elektroteknik, Data eller liknande. Erfarenhet och intresse av fordon, programvaruutveckling, systemtest eller motorutveckling är meriterande. Som person sporras du av tekniska utmaningar. Du har en förmåga att snabbt sätta dig in i avancerade problemställningar med en vilja att hitta kreativa lösningar tillsammans med dina kollegor. Du kan programmera, har körkort för bil samt behärskar engelska i tal och skrift, svenska är meriterande.
