Role Summary
As Chief Data Engineer, you lead Scania’s Commercial Data Engineering team to build and?operate?reliable, secure, and cost-efficient data products and pipelines that power BI, analytics, and AI. You define engineering standards and reusable blueprints, deliver on AWS/Snowflake/dbt, and?establish?robust?DataOps?for lifecycle, observability, compliance, and SLAs.


Job Responsibilities
Lead and grow the Data Engineering team; define ways of working aligned to business needs and Data Mesh infrastructure
Develop, publish, and?maintain?engineering standards and blueprints (coding/testing,?dbt?conventions, CI/CD, schema/versioning, observability)
Deliver high-quality data products?optimized?for BI,?AI?and analytics
Implement pipelines and controls for retention, PII handling, access frameworks, and auditability; automate policy enforcement

• Etablera och leda enheten IT/Digitalisering med ett tydligt strategiskt och operativt ansvar. 


• Samordna och prioritera utvecklingsaktiviteter från hela organisationen i en gemensam färdplan.

Arbetsuppgifter och ansvar Som fastighets- och IT-chef på Tom Tits Experiment ansvarar du för både förvaltning och utveckling av våra lokaler, där du fungerar som en viktig länk till fastighetsägaren, Telge Fastigheter samt med kommunens IT-enhet. Vår önskelista För rollen som Fastighets- och IT-chef söker vi dig som har en utbildning inom fastighetsförvaltning, alternativt en högskoleutbildning med inriktning mot IT och/eller fastighetsfrågor. About us
Last year we have transformed Bus business at Scania and all departments working with busses to became one strong unit – KN – People Transport Solutions. We are continuing to shape our business model to become preferable partner and take responsibility to the end in the flow. A new department KNA Adaptation has been created and within it, section KNAF Adaptations & Partnerships play a vital role.
Now we are looking for the group manager for the KNAFB Body Builder Cooperation group.
The primary assignment for the group is to work with technical support and training of our external bodybuilders and Scania Workshops. Support on a daily basis, discuss and provide the technical solutions, support on place when first vehicles are built and act as a communication bridge between R&D and our external partners. The group is also responsible for gathering of documentation on the chassis to body interfaces and translating it into Body Builder Manual.
The group consist of seven technicians and two technical writers.
Your tasks
In the role as a Head of Body Builder Cooperation group, you will get unique possibility to work close to R&D and commercial departments. You will be part of forming way of working with body builders and strategy for the People Transport Solutions. You will act as a coach for your employees and support them in discussions with body builders.
One of your important task as a leader is to develop the group with Core Values in mind, which are close to my heart. You will also be part of KNAF management group and forum where decision regarding body builder cooperation are discussed.

You will be leading an agile team that consists of research engineers and software developers. The area of responsibility covers the complete workflow from data collection, sensor fusion, scene perception and object tracking in the simulation environment to deployment in our vehicles.

Exempelvis möjliggör detta en digital tvilling och mer digital provning. The assignment



The Project Manager Sustainability Diagnosis is a pilot of a new role within the companys department. They are frequently requested to support their customers with analysis in the area of sustainable transport solutions. Their aim is to always deliver a proposed roadmap where they optimize the CO2 saving while keeping the TOE unchanged. The analysis is fundamental in their ambition to deliver sustainable transport roadmaps aiming to deliver vs. The comapnys Science Based Targets. They aim to always combine a short term action plan with a long term ambition based on the new technologies that will be available in the coming years.



Your main task is to develop and execute sustainability diagnostics that can serve as the base for a sustainability roadmap to be implemented by their customers. A methodology for this has been developed but it will be your assignment to develop this approach and adjust it to each customer case. You will work closely with the product teams for renewable fuels and e-mobility aswell as the presales and sustainability teams in the business units. Working directly with the customers and understand their operations is a must for the quality of the entire process, for which you will act as the project manager and eventually present the conclusions internally and externally.



Work Location

Södertälje (following FHM, we currently are working from home office).



If we, the company are able to travel later this year assignments could be anywhere, they have projects in discussion in Brazil and in Asia but most will be in Europe. The assignment will not require full time on site but a start-up of the project typically 1-2 weeks would be required in certain cases.

The organizational environment

The Department End user productivity aims to deliver services towards internal customers that are working in an office environment. The section Collaboration Services is a part of the End User Productivity department at IT. It consists of three groups with about 40 persons in total. Arbetsuppgifter
Som Head of IT hos oss kommer du att ha det yttersta verksamhets-, ekonomiska- och personalansvaret för ett team om ca 50 medarbetare, bestående av såväl anställda som konsulter. Du har fyra direktrapporterande, en säkerhetsansvarig och tre gruppchefer och rapporterar själv till vVD. Tillsammans med ditt team kommer du att arbeta för att strategiskt utveckla IT- avdelningen och dess medarbetare samt företaget i stort gällande digitalisering och IT-områden. Du kommer att arbeta tätt med de övriga avdelningarna inom företaget, men även med våra kollegor på huvudkontoret i Tyskland och vårt systerbolag i Sverige. Stort fokus ligger inom hela koncernen på utveckling av digitalisering och säkerhet inom IT-området.




Kvalifikationer
Vi söker dig med flerårig erfarenhet som chef inom IT, där du är van att arbeta både strategiskt och operativt med alla verksamhetsdelar. Du är en affärsmässig chef inom IT med stort intresse för teknikutveckling och ledarskap. Du behärskar tekniska termer och har ett genomgående förståelse för hela IT-området. Meriterande med erfarenhet från finans- eller bilbranschen. Du har god kommunikativ förmåga, såväl skriftligt som muntligt, i både svenska och engelska.
