Role Summary
TRATON Financial Services (TFS) is accelerating its digital transformation and is appointing a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead its technology agenda.

With ~100 FTEs (plus ~50 externals) across Sweden, Malaysia, and India, the IT landscape is currently fragmented and infrastructure-heavy. The CIO will define and execute a modernization roadmap, simplifying legacy systems, strengthening data, automation and AI capabilities, and building a secure, scalable, and business-driven IT function.

Reporting to the CEO, the CIO will position technology as a strategic enabler of growth, efficiency, and competitive advantage. The role is based in Sweden.

Who You Are
Experience & Qualifications
Proven track record as CIO/CDO or equivalent senior technology leader in global, matrixed environments.
Experience in Financial Services or other highly regulated industries; exposure to industrial or captive finance models is a plus.
Strong background in infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, digital platforms, automation, and data/AI.
Demonstrated success leading large-scale IT and digital transformations.
Experience managing global, multi-site teams.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field; fluent in English.

* Flera års erfarenhet av komplexa projekt, gärna inom digitalisering/verksamhetsutveckling
* Erfarenhet av projektmetodik såsom XLPM eller motsvarande, och av agila arbetssätt och vattenfallsmetoder

Meriterande:

* Certifiering inom exempelvis IPMA, PMI eller Prince2, liksom kunskap om PM3 och ITIL
* Erfarenhet av projektverktyg som Antura eller liknande

The primary assignment for the group is to work with technical support and training of our external bodybuilders and Scania Workshops. Support on a daily basis, discuss and provide the technical solutions, support on place when first vehicles are built and act as a communication bridge between R&D and our external partners. The group is also responsible for gathering of documentation on the chassis to body interfaces and translating it into Body Builder Manual.
The group consist of seven technicians and two technical writers.

In the role as a Head of Body Builder Cooperation group, you will get unique possibility to work close to R&D and commercial departments. You will be part of forming way of working with body builders and strategy for the People Transport Solutions. You will act as a coach for your employees and support them in discussions with body builders.
One of your important task as a leader is to develop the group with Core Values in mind, which are close to my heart. You will also be part of KNAF management group and forum where decision regarding body builder cooperation are discussed.

The IT Manager and Information Security Officer’s responsibilities also include  planning, execution, and maintenance of Scania Credit IT environments and systems. • Developing and maintaining IS/IT policies and Disaster Recovery Plan
• Keeping up to date with HW and SW technology development relevant to Scania Credit business
• Being responsible for the interface between end users and external suppliers of business applications, and between Scania Credit IT and Central Scania IT
• Developing and maintaining relations to strategic system integrators/ software partners and IT suppliers. Maintain SLAs with suppliers, negotiate technical terms and costs in IT related contracts
• Being responsible for the budget of the IT department and IT infrastructure

The work will consist of both making sure the daily operation works as efficiently as possible and drive change management, often in project form. The position requires active cooperation with internal and external stakeholders and covers both existing and new markets.

Our Journey

This journey has been going on for almost 2,5 years and the group consists today of 14 brilliant Cloud Engineers and transformation managers divided into 4 small but tightly coupled teams. 3 teams are more technical oriented teams working on AWS, Azure and Cloud Security and the 4:th team holding the product owner, service responsible and transformation managers. The groups mission, to lead Scania Cloud Journey, is two folded. This means:


• To setup, develop and maintain the technical foundation in our Cloud Platform
• To lead and drive Scania transformation to Cloud

Scania Credit Group (SCA), a Scania Financial Services (SFS) business unit (BU), serving customers, dealers and distributors in more than 20 different markets through local leasing companies or cross border financing. The Process Team in Södertälje consists of 6 employees and is responsible for IT, Support & Maintenance, project management and The Scania Way / SRS work for the group. The team works with continuous development of processes and systems in close cooperation with both internal and external stakeholders.

The position is based at Scania Credit AB’s main office in Södertälje.

Job Description

We offer a position with international contacts where you will be part of a great team! The main responsibility of the role is the planning, execution, and maintenance of Scania Credit IT environments and systems. This is based on the input from SCA’s system and process owners and done in accordance with the global Scania Corporate IT Strategy. The responsibility also covers coordination and maintenance of existing IT systems in our 7 regional offices.

Principal duties of the role includes;


• Heading and steering of SCA’s IT related activities
• Drive and encourage digitalization of internal and external processes
• Presentation of new IT projects towards respective decision forum
• Implementation of IT projects
• Develop and maintain IS/IT policies, IT-plan, and Disaster Recovery Plan
• Define and follow-up on IT-plan
• Ensure compliance with external and internal audit and legislation requirements for IT system setup
• Keep up to date with HW and SW technology development relevant to SCA business
• Responsible for the interface between end users and the suppliers of business applications, and between SCA IT and Scania IT
• Information System Administration – ensure processes and routines for remote office and remote users support
• Budget responsibility for the IT department and IT infrastructure

You will work in close cooperation with the Process Manager and Operations Manager. The work will consist of both making sure the daily operation works as efficiently as possible and drive change management, often in project form. The position requires active cooperation with internal and external stakeholders and covers both existing and new markets.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has a high level of personal integrity, is driven and self-motivated, takes own initiatives and possesses excellent communication skills in English (Swedish is also very welcome). You are also a business minded team player who is used of working in an international environment, with people of various background and nationality. You are motivated by challenges which include operations in growing markets and are not afraid of continuously changing and new circumstances to which you will need to adapt.

Your skills and formal qualifications should preferably include:


• University degree in information and computer science and/or several years of relevant experience,
• Used to lead in a changing environment
• Experience of Power BI and QlikView
• Knowledge of View 21 would be a great advantage

It would be beneficial if you have experience from a Financial Services company.
