The group is responsible for the system architecture of the powertrain control system TMS. In this role, we need someone to work with functional safety to meet ISO26262 and possibly also some cyber security. The work is done in the team for different projects.

During Covid, part of the work can be done off-site. Normally 100% on-site at the customer´s premises. The selection of candidates is done continuously. Good opportunities for an extension of the assignment until the end of 2022.

Required competence-

- 2-5 years relevant experience
- Personality: Structured, analytical, result-oriented and communicative team player.
- Education: M.Sc. in computer science, physics, electronics or similar. Knowledge of embedded systems and functional safety is a must.
- Language: Fluent in Swedish and English is preferable


Wanted competence

- Knowledge about customers electrical systems and/or embedded systems in vehicles.
- Knowledge of ISO26262 and cyber security legislation.

Northab is looking for Elecrochemical Engineer Li-Ion batteries on behalf of our client

You will be deeply involved in the development of Li-Ion batteries, we are looking for an experienced electrochemical engineer. The main tasks are defining requirements on battery cells and taking an active part in discussions with battery suppliers.

During Covid, work will be performed remotely and when the pandemic is over, flexibility can be arranged on-site and off-site.

The assignment



The Project Manager Sustainability Diagnosis is a pilot of a new role within the companys department. They are frequently requested to support their customers with analysis in the area of sustainable transport solutions. Their aim is to always deliver a proposed roadmap where they optimize the CO2 saving while keeping the TOE unchanged. The analysis is fundamental in their ambition to deliver sustainable transport roadmaps aiming to deliver vs. The comapnys Science Based Targets. They aim to always combine a short term action plan with a long term ambition based on the new technologies that will be available in the coming years.



Your main task is to develop and execute sustainability diagnostics that can serve as the base for a sustainability roadmap to be implemented by their customers. A methodology for this has been developed but it will be your assignment to develop this approach and adjust it to each customer case. You will work closely with the product teams for renewable fuels and e-mobility aswell as the presales and sustainability teams in the business units. Working directly with the customers and understand their operations is a must for the quality of the entire process, for which you will act as the project manager and eventually present the conclusions internally and externally.



Work Location

Södertälje (following FHM, we currently are working from home office).



If we, the company are able to travel later this year assignments could be anywhere, they have projects in discussion in Brazil and in Asia but most will be in Europe. The assignment will not require full time on site but a start-up of the project typically 1-2 weeks would be required in certain cases.



Your profile



They are looking for a structured person with analytical skills that delivers results with high quality standards. Project management skills are going to be vital aswell as the competence to develop a comprehensive report and present it in a professional fashion. A consulting background would be a clear advantage. Experience in the transport industry and analysis of truck performance is meriting.



Good communication skills are required in the interaction with customers and business units. A good command of written and spoken English is required and knowledge in additional languages is meriting. You have a university degree in business or engineering (or very strong equivalence).

Process engineer

On behalf of the customer, we are looking for a process engineer for work in the heavier engineering industry.

You will, among other things, work with follow-up, statistics, quality issues, order and order / coordination.

Full time 100% on site at the customer's premises. Good opportunities for extension.

Selection of candidates takes place on an ongoing basis.

Required competence

5-10 years of experience as a process engineer

Preferably experience from foundry processes
