Job summary

• Full responsibility for monthly, quarterly and yearly closing and reporting for your designated market(s)

Your profile
We are looking for a person with a degree in finance, economics or business administration with at least four to five years of relevant experience in accounting and/or financial control.

The position
We are looking for Regional ICS Manager for the Region Americas, who would like to contribute to an effective internal control environment with main focus on internal controls for financial and sustainability reporting and for selected compliance areas, eg. anti-money laundering, anti-corruption, product compliance. You will have an active role in the implementation, maintenance and further development of the ICS framework in the Region, but also Commercial Operations and the whole Scania Group.
In this position, you will join the Global ICS team and work in an international environment, closely collaborating and coordinating activities with Regional Director, Regional CFO and Regional Compliance Officer as well as Management, Process Owners and other stakeholders in the Business Units. Main responsibilities
• Ensure that Scania’s ICS Policy is implemented in the Business Units of the Region
• Coordinate the process of annual risk assessment to identify high risks and key controls within the scope of ICS framework and prepare annual control evaluation plan for the Region
• Perform process walk-throughs, sample testing of key controls and facilitate self-assessments according to the annual plan
• Regularly document ICS matters in in TRATON Internal Control Application (TICA), eg. control maturity level

To be successful in this role
You have a relevant academic degree, at least 5 years’ experience of working with internal controls, accounting and financial systems, risk management, compliance or audit.

About the position
We are looking for a Regional Internal Control System (ICS) Manager for Northern Europe, who would like to contribute to an effective internal control environment at TRATON Financial Services entities. The Northern Europe Region is covering the Business Units Finans (Sweden, Estonia, Finland, Lituania, Latvia, Norway, Sweden, Denmark) and United Kingdom (Great Britain, Ireland).
As ICS Manager for the region, you will be part of the Central GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) team and reporting both to the Governance and ICS Manager at Head office as well as the Regional Office. Facilitate implementation of ICS in pending/new entities

Who we are
“Business Control” (VFC) is a group within VF “Finance and Business Control” (VF) and is responsible for the financial consolidation of global book closings and projections for Production and Logistics. VFCs main tasks include financial reporting, consolidation and analysis of Production costs, Calculation vehicles, Investments, Delivery values, KPIs and IT projects. About the position
We are looking for a Regional Internal Control System (ICS) Manager for Northern Europe, who would like to contribute to an effective internal control environment at TRATON Financial Services entities. The Northern Europe Region is covering the Business Units Finans (Sweden, Estonia, Finland, Lituania, Latvia, Norway, Sweden, Denmark) and United Kingdom (Great Britain, Ireland).
As ICS Manager for the region, you will be part of the Central GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) team and reporting both to the Governance and ICS Manager at Head office as well as the Regional Office. This role manages all ICS related activities for the Business Units at the region and has an active role on the implementation, maintenance and further development of the Internal Control Framework at TRATON Financial Services.
Your primary job assignment will be to:
Coordinate, facilitate and consolidate yearly risk assessments at Business Units based on the TFS risk profile and support the preparation of the annual control evaluation plan for the Region
Perform process walk-throughs, testing of key controls and facilitate self-assessments according to the annual control evaluation plan
Support management and process owners in the Business Units in design of new and updated controls

Follow up on control deficiencies and remediating actions at Business Units

Job summary

In this position, you will be the responsible Financial Controller for one or two of the seven markets within Scania Finans handling all the financial aspects, including financial reporting, financial control, accounts payable, accounts receivable as well as analyzing the financial statements. You will also support with tasks for other markets such as accounts payables management and payments. Responsibilities also include financial reporting to local statutory bodies and financial statements to several other stakeholders. The Financial Controllers reports to the Head of Accounting & Reporting.

• Monthly, quarterly and yearly closing and reporting
• Day to day accounting, payments and reconciliations
• Deviation analysis and cost control
• VAT / tax and income tax returns
• Coordinate and manage the financial statements
• Continuous development of work routines and processes

Your profile

We are looking for a person with a degree in finance, economics or business administration with preferably at least two-three years’ relevant experience from accounting and/or financial control.

Your responsibilities:


• Responsible for developing and maintaining an efficient and relevant financial steering model for R&D. The business is constantly developing and the steering model must support and guide the same while ensuring that various stakeholders' needs are met.
• Owner of R&D’s financial yearly and long-term planning process.
• Lead and drive the progress of the processes, from planning, providing prerequisites, monitoring and supporting all involved parties, to completing the reporting to the customers of the processes.
• Controlling and analysis of the content of the financial plans to create transparency, including trend and deviation analysis.
• Present the plans on a regular basis during the process to its various stakeholders, which most often is R&D management team as well as Traton.
• Develop and set requirements on the IT tools necessary to support the financial steering model and financial planning processes. Efficient system support is crucial for obtaining relevant data.

The role
This is a temporary role aiming to support the Nordic Financial Control team with different tasks/projects during second half of 2021;

* Project lead for SAP improvements: we have identified a couple of issues in SAP that needs to be corrected. This role would work with the technical team (SAP team), Nordic FC team and Sweden FC team, as well as Group Financial Reporting team to ensure we get a solution in place that meet internal and external reporting requirements. The task would be to lead the project, and communicate with the different teams, to ensure a correct SAP set-up with postings in line with valid accounting principles.
* Policy review and update; lead the work of updating the current Nordic travel policy. Develop guidance on exception handling for managers.
* Support BlackLine go-live in Sweden in August, and in Norway, Denmark and Finland in October.
* Support transition to new procurement system in September and October.
* Lead/support other improvement projects.

The arena

As a member of Group Finance Reporting based in Sweden, your primary responsibility will be to work in the team delivering high quality financial data to meet the reporting deadlines set both internally: reports to the Board; Senior Executive Team and other executives; and externally: to regulatory authorities, shareholders and other stakeholders. The role

Group Finance Reporting Sweden is a specialist team, organised within Group Finance Reporting globally, and consisting of 4 persons. The team is responsible for statutory accounting for all Swedish legal entities as well as being part of the global GFR team consolidation of the AZ group accounts and specially to managing reporting to group from Sweden. The team also give advice to the business regarding IFRS accounting standards as well as Swedish GAAP. Other specific areas are the responsibility for the Swedish pensions accounting and financial assets accounting. The team is also responsible for all corporate transactions such as dividends, capital transactions etc.



Responsibilities for our Financial Controller:

* Participate in the month end close reporting
* Monitoring and managing accuracy of the accounting records for AstraZeneca AB
* Reviewing the monthly reporting of results into the group consolidation and review of a number of Sweden Balance accounts reconciliations
* Providing ad-hoc support to the business in relation to Swedish GAAP/IFRS
* Participate in the preparation of the annual financial statements for all Swedish legal entities in AZ group, and working closely with the group's auditors

Commercial Operations Financial Control is a function within Corporate Control. The group is responsible for quality assurance, analysis and presentation of the financial information for the Scania-owned sales and services companies.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a great interest in financial analysis. You will have a close contact with the CFO/reporting team in our Business units and you will actively support Corporate Control and Commercial Operations Management by providing relevant financial information and analysis.


Responsibilities:


• Financial controlling of monthly closings and projections from our Business units
• Consolidate, analyse and present the financial outcome
• Carry out Compliance Reviews at the Business units
• Support and train the Business units in financial reporting issues
• Work actively to improve and develop financial models

We offer a clear insight into Scania´s business and the financial steering models as well as a lot of contacts within the organisation. Additionally, this position provides a good background for a further development within the Scania Group.

We are looking for a driven person with high ambitions and strong analytical skills. You have a university degree within business administration and about 2-5 years relevant working experience. You are an experienced Microsoft office user and knowledge about HFM is considered as an additional merit, but not mandatory. Scania is a global organisation and good knowledge in both written and oral English is required. You have the ability to act as a team player, with strong communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and take own initiatives.

You will be located at the headquarters in Södertälje. The position requires limited travelling from time to time.

Financial controller – Business application specialist

We are now looking for a service-minded financial controller with great interest in applications and IT to be part of Group Financial Reporting.

Group Financial Reporting is a department within Corporate Control, which is responsible for group accounting, consolidation and follow-up of the Scania group. Deliveries from the department include reports and analysis of the financial performance of the Scania group to Scania’s CFO and executive board as well as reporting to the parent company Traton AG and financial reports to the market. This mission demands qualitative, timely and relevant financial information and not at least well-functioning financial applications. The location for this position is at Scania’s head office in Södertälje.

Job summary

The assignment as Financial controller – Business application specialist, implies to in a team of colleagues work with different system applications used by Scania Group Financial. The work tasks include maintenance of applications, participation in projects and work groups, ad hoc assignments and work with continuous improvements concerning the different applications and the reporting process.

This role will have a special responsibility area for one application connected to accounting and reporting of leases, GLC (Global Lease Center), it means to be


•  Expert user of the GLC application
• Point of contact towards end-users
• Point of contact towards VW/Traton
• Coordinator of changes in the application and related processes

The position will give a great opportunity to understand accounting/reporting applications and the business structure within the Scania group. The position will expose you to a wide range of people from different parts of the organisation, both within Scania, VW and Traton that will give possibilities to create a good network.

Your profile

We are looking for a person with a degree in finance or business with a few years’ experience. Experience could be from financial reporting or working with accounting and reporting systems. We believe that you have a great interest in working with financial applications as well as like to work with process development and continuous improvements. You are an experienced Excel and PowerPoint user, further in general knowledgeable in IT. Since we work in a global environment, you need to be able to communicate in both English and Swedish.

Personal skills

To be able to solve complex tasks you need to be analytical as a person and have high problem solving skills. The ability to focus on details without losing grip of the big picture is therefore essential in order to succeed in your role. You should have the ability to both work independently and as part of a team. A service-minded and solution-oriented attitude is something we place great value in, therefore you need to have both social and communicative skills since the position will expose you to internal and external contacts.
