Job Responsibilities
You will take design lead and be responsible for the electrics in our projects and products regarding electrification in such as Battery Electric Vehicle. It means close cross functional collaboration with other areas such as mechanical design, production, market and purchasing. As an electrical designer at Customized Truck Development, you need to analyse customer requests and brake them down into actions. Bearing currents pose a major durability risk in electrified propulsion and transmission units. In the group EMC Solutions and eMotor testing (Domain ePropulsion and Drivetrain development) we are developing methods and models to understand and mitigate bearing current issues in our electric propulsion units. We are now looking for a curious and driven engineer to join our group as an industrial PhD student in a research project focusing on tribology for electric vehicles. The project aims to develop a physics-based design tool for predicting, understanding and ultimately mitigating bearing current-induces damages.
As an industrial PhD student, you will be academically affiliated with the Division of Machine elements, Department of Engineering Sciences and Mathematics, at Luleå University of Technology (LTU) in northern Sweden, and having supervisors both LTU and Traton throughout the project.
The field of machine elements generally involves the analysis and optimization of machine components and component systems based on performance, energy efficiency, reliability, and environmental impact. Within this field, tribology- the study of friction, lubrication and wear in contacts- is central, and in this project you will contribute to building fundamental knowledge in electrified tribological contacts, with a specific focus on bearing currents in electric powertrains. The project is largely experimental in nature, but will contain simulation and model development to support the understanding of underlying phenomena. You will spend most of your time at Traton R&D in Södertälje and part of your time at LTU in Luleå.
Job Responsibilities

Plan and execute scientific investigations – on site in Södertälje and partly at LTU
Perform experimental model- and component-level studies of electrified tribological contacts
Develop tribological models and methods.

Role Summary
The Test Cell Operation ePropulsion & Drivetrain group is responsible for providing powertrain development teams with testing capacity, including test rigs and personnel. The group owns and operates approximately 30 test rigs used to verify gearboxes, propeller shafts, electric and conventional rear axles, inverters, and electric machines, among other components.
We as a group have a great team spirit, and we always help each other to succeed in our deliveries.
In recent years, many of the test rigs have been rebuilt to meet the testing needs of electrified test objects. We are now continuing to develop the test field with more inverter testing and an increased focus on ensuring the quality of the measurement data we produce.
As a Test Cell Engineer in our group, you need to be adaptable across different technical areas and have a broad technical interest.
This role is part of TRATON Group R&D, located in Södertälje, Sweden.
Job Responsibilities
You will be responsible for a number of our test cells. This includes both hands-on work with installing and removing test objects, as well as managing and developing these test cells. In case of deviations, you will be the problem owner, lead troubleshooting efforts, and convene cross-functional meetings to resolve issues. You will also be responsible for some testing, which may involve handling test scripts and continuously monitoring tests. The base engine diesel calibration engineer focuses on optimizing engine performance for the off highway segment i.e Genset, Industrial and Marine. This role ensures engines meet stringent emissions standards while delivering power and optimizing fuel consumption under various operating conditions.

This role is a part of TRATON Group R&D, located in Södertälje, Sweden.
As a Business Change Manager, you will play a central role in our Business Change Management function within CAD/vPDM – a department of around 150 people developing and maintaining CAD and PLM systems for vehicle development and production, supporting over 13,000 users globally.
The role combines operational Business change management for system releases with strategic work to strengthen our ability to plan, communicate, and execute changes in a global and complex organization. To be clear, for this role you do NOT need to be a CAD expert.

We ensure that the charging systems and services we develop not only have the right performance and functionality but also comply with current safety and security legislations. Our goal is to provide a state-of-the-art charging experience for our customers.
Role Summary
Do you possess skills in multitasking and coordinating? As our Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of innovation, coordinating the testing and validation on vehicles and prototypes for our cutting-edge electric trucks. Working closely with the test engineers and designers in our agile teams, you'll support the group with planning tests, rebuilds and ensuring a smooth operational flow, all while honing your leadership and technical skills.
Job Responsibilities
Coordinating Vehicles: Ensure that we have the right vehicles with the right specifications booked for our tests. Coordinate the teams so that the hardware and software for generation trucks are compatible. Make sure that the need of test vehicles is presented to the projects.
Coordinating Tests: Together with the Test Engineers coordinate and plan upcoming test and test needs. Including climate test such as summer test and winter test. Also keeping all the systems updated with the latest information.
Test Needs Management: Keep track of the roadmap for our BEV vehicles and assure that the necessary test are planned in time to meet the project milestones. This means being in close contact with the both line and VCT leaders.
Coordinating Rebuilds: Together with the designers, material coordinators and mechanics coordinate rebuilds of test vehicles.
Collaboration: Become the bridge between design and testing both at Scania but also on a Traton level for upcoming coordination between out global sites in Sweden, Germany, USA and Brazil.



Who are you
Experienced Engineer: You have a technical university degree or similar experience. Previous work experience in electrical engineering and/or automotive industry is a plus but not required.
Detail-Oriented: You are meticulous and well-structured in your work, with an ability to build the puzzle with some pieces still missing.

The powertrain domain is technically complex and developed to the best performance and standards on the market. The systems in this domain are key to the function, performance, and environmental impact of our products.
Job Responsibilities
The organization is very skilled and experienced so working with the organization on these complex topics will challenge and develop you as an engineer. You will contribute to the overall safety and Cybersecurity of Scania’s vehicles by working with requirement management and requirement engineering related activities for the development of powertrain control systems.
Main tasks for the role:
Manage and create safety/Security-related functional and technical system requirements. Interfacing with safety manager, Cyber-security manager, architects and HW/SW engineers, you'll be responsible for collecting and configuring safety-related system requirements within our requirements management tool (Polarion),as well as managing changes to those requirements
Requirements analysis: Using Polarion, you will be responsible for structuring and organizing the requirements to ensure clarity and completeness. You will lead requirements analysis and review activities with the cross-functional teams, and develop and maintain traceability to both stakeholder requirements and HW/SW requirements

Who You Are
You are passionate about the safety topics, and have very good communication and collaboration skills. We work with multiple parallel deliveries so you are good at creating an overview and structure for all the deliveries. You are also a curious analytic person and you are motivated by responsibility and enjoy solving problems in a structured way. You are able to drive topics independently.
Prior experience in working with automotive system and design experience for requirements capture and management is required. You have good competence in the usage of requirement management tools such as DOORS or Polarion, for the management of requirements. You also have experience of Functional Safety ISO 26262 in product development projects and experience in key safety analysis processes such as FTA and FMEA is meriting. Knowledge in concept of safety monitors in software and hardware is also meriting.
You are a graduate engineer who can express yourself both verbally and in writing in English. The ability to speak Swedish or the willingness to learn is advantageous. C/D driver's license is also meriting.

With a high focus on sustainability, electrification, and autonomy, we are transforming the complete vehicle industry. Our group is responsible for finite element strength and fatigue simulations within Cab Development and crash simulations for the complete vehicle. Job Responsibilities
• Utilize your expertise in solid mechanics and perform FE analyses to support our designers in developing and optimizing components and systems that ensure a high level of passive safety in case of a crash event.

• Conduct post-processing and analysis of results, and provide reports containing conclusions and recommendations.
• Develop load cases, set acceptance criteria for our products, and plan required simulation activities globally.

The group “Engine System Regulations” is responsible for demands on central functions for diagnostics and error control within the engine and aftertreatment management control systems. This includes ensuring that the systems fulfil legal demands for OBD, that our documentation is up to date and that our systems are easy to troubleshoot for the service market organisation.

Your role
As certification engineer you will be responsible for OBD testing of the most central fault codes on the engine as well as documentation of these tests. As we are building the organisation to tend to the new needs from the USA projects there will be plenty of opportunity to broaden your role and evolve with the organisation, especially if you already have experience with US certification and OBD development.


• Primary focus will be OBD certification towards the US market and setting up the processes and workflow for this.

Om rollen
Som underhållsingenjör för produktionsunderhåll inom batteriproduktion får du en viktig och utvecklande roll i vårt ständiga förbättringsarbete för att uppnå Scanias högtställda mål gällande teknisk tillgänglighet, hållbarhet och säkerhet. Ditt huvudsakliga uppdrag är analysarbete mot verksamhetsområdet och att tillse att underhållsplaner för utrustningar är optimerade, uppdaterade och korrekta samt säkerställa valet av underhålls- samt reservdelsstrategier så att vi har rätt reservdelar tillgängliga. Du kommer att arbeta med befintlig utrustning, identifiera behov av renoveringar/nyanskaffning och säkerställa att ny utrustning integreras i verksamheten på bästa sätt.
Genom din roll är du en viktig del av maskinanskaffningsprocessen som mottagare av ny utrustning för verksamhetsområdet och du tillgodoser att det finns framtagna kompetens-, personal- och utbildnings-behov för nyanskaffningar för verksamhetsområdet. I detta arbete fungerar du som koordinator för projektgrupperna mot produktionsunderhåll samt tillser att leveranser följer standarder och är enligt kvalitetskrav.


Dina huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter
Analysarbete i syfte att identifiera problem- och förbättringsområden för att öka den tekniska tillgängligheten inom transmissions verksamhetsområde.
Aktivt arbeta för att ständigt förbättra verksamheten genom att mål, handlingsplaner och aktiviteter tas fram, genomförs, följs upp och redovisas.
Arbeta med Scanias strategi att uppnå ett förutsägbart underhåll i form av uppkopplade maskiner, metoder och arbetssätt för att uppnå en högre driftsäkerhet
Aktivt delta på möten och i interaktion med projektorganisation, produktionsteknik, produktion och avdelningens ledningsgrupp.
Driva arbetet med riskinventering av utrustningar och ta fram beslutsunderlag för den årliga investeringsplanen.
På lokal nivå följa upp och tillse att underhålls-ansvar och behov i investeringsprojekt uppfylls.


Vem är du?
För att trivas och lyckas i rollen ser vi att du är en engagerad, strategisk och strukturerad lagspelare med förmågan att lyfta blicken för att se helheten. Rollen hos oss kräver god kommunikations- och samarbetsförmåga då du har ett nära samarbete med såväl Underhållsingenjörer maskinanskaffning som de olika avdelningarna för produktionsunderhåll. För att lyckas i rollen som underhållsingenjör tror vi att du har:
Ett brinnande intresse för att lösa komplexa problem.
En högskole- eller universitetsexamen inom relevant tekniskt område, t.ex. maskinteknik, elektroteknik, automation eller industriell ekonomi, alternativt mångårig erfarenhet inom underhåll.
Minst tre års erfarenhet av underhållsanalys och optimering i en industriell miljö, gärna inom fordonsindustrin.
Goda kunskaper i dataanalys, statistik, prediktivt underhåll och digitalisering.
Goda kunskaper i databashantering och analysverktyg, t.ex. Power BI eller liknande.
Goda kunskaper i engelska, både i tal och skrift.

Job Responsibilities
You will work closely together with our team of specialists in Traton R&D within battery safety. Areas of the team responsibility span from electric, thermal, environmental, functional to passive safety. Except for the battery safety team you will also have a lot of contacts with other teams in several VCT’s and various parts of Traton R&D from design to testing to regulations.
Your main task is:
• To be the technical leader within the area of passive safety and ensure a that we are doing the right things together with your colleagues.
• To be a high performing safety engineer we believe that you will take on your own technical tasks, just as the other members of the team. Kvalifikationer:

The design development of electrical machines and powertrains requires quick and efficient collaboration between calculation, testing and design. The growing project portfolio together with the potential within simulation enables us to further strengthen and expand our team!

Our group consists of simulation engineers from different competence and component areas within TRATON. The tasks within the team offer a dynamic and agile (VCT) work environment in close cooperation with our different products and their development projects, where the team is in charge of the whole design process; from concept to launched powertrain products. Detta uppdrag är ett samarbete mellan AFRY och vår framgångsrika kund inom lastvagnar och tunga fordon i Södertälje. Vår kund befinner dig i en period av flera spännande förändringar och utmaningar och söker nu en driven och teknikintresserad produktionsberedare.
Som beredare har du en central roll för att säkra störningsfria produktintroduktioner och produktförbättringar i produktion. Du kommer att ha ett nära samarbete med produktionstekniker, både på plats i Södertälje och i en internationell miljö. I rollen som beredare kommer du att fungera som länken mellan produktion och konstruktion.
Dina huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter är att kvalitetssäkra avdelningens processer. Detta görs genom att bl.a. arkivera, lagerlägga och optimera verktygsdetaljer. Du kommer arbeta med kontinuerliga förbättringar och säkerställer att förbättringarna genomförs enligt företagets rutiner. Modellering i CAD förekommer som en naturlig del av arbetet.

Kvalifikationer
Du är relativt nyutexaminerad högskole- eller civilingenjör, gärna med inriktning mot produktion och med erfarenhet av bearbetning. Som person är du noggrann, strukturerad och gillar ordning och reda. 
Som beredare på avdelningen ställs krav på både projektledaregenskaper och en generell teknisk kompetens. Du trivs med att ha många kontaktytor och samarbetar gärna brett för att säkerställa att så bra resultat som möjligt nås. 
Du har lätt för att både läsa och förstå ritningar och behärskar åtminstone något CAD-program, gärna CATIA. Du har dessutom god IT-vana och har inget emot att arbeta i komplexa IT-system.
Att fördjupa dig i tekniska frågeställningar är något som du drivs av. Du tar gärna egna initiativ och ställer frågor eller letar svaret på egen hand när frågeställningar uppstår.

Om rollen

Collaborate and strengthen relationships with internal, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the development of screw-joint solutions of high standards.

Who You Are
To thrive in this role, you should have a master’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering, engineering physics, or a related field. Experience in mechanical testing or analytical applications of screw joints is a strong advantage, but a keen interest in developing expertise in this area is just as valuable. Familiarity with design work and Scania’s PDM systems is also highly beneficial.
We are looking for someone with strong practical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as a sharp eye for detail. You should be comfortable presenting ideas and speaking in public, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Swedish—knowledge of German is a plus.

We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Entry-Level Project Manager with a technical background in the automotive industry, ideally from Research & Development or production. In this fast-paced role, you will navigate ambiguity, adapt to challenges, and view deviations as opportunities for growth and improvement.

You are driven, flexible, and responsible, capable of both collaborating with others and working independently toward set targets. You thrive on variety over specialization, managing multiple ongoing tasks and embracing a broad range of responsibilities.

You hold an M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Automotive, Mechanical or a related field, with preferably some industry experience. Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset are essential, along with fluency in English. Om rollen
Vi söker en projektledare som vill driva och utveckla effektiv och stabil produktion åt till sina kunder där maskiner och automation står i fokus. Du kommer att leda ett team där ni tillsammans arbetar med att säkerställa driftsäkerhet, planering och optimering av produktionsprocesserna åt många industriföretag i branschen.

Arbetsuppgifter

Leda och utveckla teamet för att säkerställa en effektiv och stabil produktion.
Planera och optimera industriella processer med fokus på maskiner och automation.
Ansvara för driftsäkerhet och förebyggande underhåll av produktionsutrustning.
Följa upp produktionsmål, budget och nyckeltal för att säkerställa lönsamhet.
Samarbeta med andra avdelningar och kunder för att förbättra processer och leveranser.
Driva förbättringsprojekt för att effektivisera produktionen.

Kvalifikationer

Erfarenhet som projektledare, produktionschef, driftchef, Operations Manager eller liknande inom industrin.
God förståelse för maskiner och gärna automation.
Teknisk utbildning inom exempelvis ingenjörsområdet eller motsvarande erfarenhet.
Erfarenhet av att leda team och utveckla processer.
Ekonomisk förståelse och erfarenhet av budgetansvar.
Flytande svenska och engelska i tal och skrift.
B-körkort.
