Vi söker nu en CAD-konstruktör till vår kund inom fordonsindustrin. Det här är en roll för dig som är trygg i CAD men som också uppskattar att vara nära verksamheten och vill ha en bred roll.

Du jobbar med mekanisk konstruktion, stöttar produktion, servar maskiner och jobbar nära inköp med produktval och utveckling. Du tar fram nya lösningar, vidareutvecklar befintliga konstruktioner och skapar struktur och tekniska standarder i arbetet.

Det handlar om bärande konstruktioner, ramverk och mekaniska system där funktion och hållfasthet är vardag. Du är delaktig i att implementera konstruktionerna i produktionen och säkerställer att de är byggbara och genomtänkta.

Mekanisk beredning är en naturlig del av rollen. Du arbetar nära inköp och har förståelse för vilka produkter och komponenter leverantörer erbjuder. I samråd med inköp säkerställer du att rätt lösningar väljs både tekniskt, hållbart och ekonomiskt.

För rätt person finns även möjlighet att ta visst tekniskt ansvar för maskiner, enklare service och dialog med leverantörer. Erfarenhet av att rita el-scheman eller arbeta med 3D-skrivare är meriterande men inget krav.

Din profil
Du har bakgrund med studier eller erfarenhet från yrke inom mekanik eller liknande och som är trygg i CAD. Du har ett helhetstänk och gillar att jobba brett över hela företaget men med fokus på CAD-konstruktion och produktutveckling.

Du har god förståelse för bärande konstruktioner och mekaniska system och trivs i en miljö där konstruktion möter produktion. Du är tekniskt driven, strukturerad och lösningsorienterad.

Det är en fördel om du har arbetat i en tillverkande miljö tidigare och uppskattar att vara nära verksamheten snarare än enbart arbeta teoretiskt.

About the Role
This role is a part of TRATON Group R&D, located in Södertälje, Sweden.
As a Business Change Manager, you will play a central role in our Business Change Management function within CAD/vPDM – a department of around 150 people developing and maintaining CAD and PLM systems for vehicle development and production, supporting over 13,000 users globally.
The role combines operational Business change management for system releases with strategic work to strengthen our ability to plan, communicate, and execute changes in a global and complex organization. To be clear, for this role you do NOT need to be a CAD expert.

• Take a holistic approach for major releases. You conduct impact analyses, map stakeholders, create communication plans, engage our change ambassadors, and follow up so we continuously improve.

You will be a driving force in implementing new frameworks, developing ways of working, and supporting roles such as project managers, flow initiative owners, product owners, and business analysts in becoming more confident change leaders.

Arbetsuppgifter

Vi söker dig som har/är:

- Minst 3 års erfarenhet av konstruktion, gärna inom fordonsindustrin.
- Erfarenhet av att arbeta i projekt.
- Gedigen kunskap i Catia V5 och gärna SmartTeam eller liknande.
- Kunskap inom mekanik, och gärna grundläggande inom mekatronik eller elektronik.
- Erfarenhet av beräkningar och simuleringar samt IATF 16949 är meriterande.

Qualifications


We are looking for someone who has:
Several years of experience in product development within the manufacturing industry.
At least two years of experience in OAS, Catia V5 and Fras.
Experience in vehicle development.
A relevant academic background, such as a degree in mechanical engineering.
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written. Proficiency in Swedish is considered an advantage.

The Team
The work will be carried out by a dedicated organisation – which will develop and manage the products over time. We work mainly in the early stages and with concept development. Your Role
The market for heavy-duty BEV vehicles has started to grow in China and we believe that we will need a product in that segment in the near future. You will be an essential part of the team starting to understand and develop the product that fits the customer in China. As for the other products in our portfolio, the cost is essential to keep low however we still need to get excellent performance.
Your working task will be to understand what properties components like battery, e-machine, and thermal management system need to have for a good customer fit/cost optimization. From a theoretical level, you need to understand what influences different properties and we also see that you participate hands-on in testing - in other words, combining theory and practice.
Your Profile
You have a solid background in automotive and system development for electrified heavy vehicles. Most likely you have worked with components like e-machines or thermal management on a system level. You have worked with colleagues from both HW, SW, and controlling teams and maybe have been leading small workgroups. You appreciated the frequent contact with purchasing, production, and other colleagues working with cross functions of the Powertrain and Complete vehicle. You are structured and thorough in your work and can easily put together clear technical requirement documents and designs for the system level.
We believe you have a passion for technology and understand cause-and-effect relationships in a technical system. This position is great for you who want to broaden your knowledge of Powertrain and dare to challenge the current technology to find more cost-efficient solutions. You have a solid background in automotive and system development for electrified heavy vehicles. Most likely you have worked as a system development engineer with INCA, or similar tools, and appreciated the frequent contact with purchasing, production, and other colleagues working with cross functions of the Powertrain and Complete vehicle. What will your main responsibilities and tasks be?

Within the PDM Integration domain which handles 3D DMU and connections between generic product descriptions, specifications, ECO, and 3D, you will..


• Continuously investigate new operational requirements, from minor issues to major investigations and projects, and then translate them into clear requirements for process, method, and system support related to CAD/vPDM.
• Comprehend how requirements and solutions will impact Scania's processes, methods, and solutions, and when necessary, further develop them.
• Collaborate with the IT team to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Ensure and test delivered solutions against requirements, working closely with the business.
• Operate closely engaging with both our users and IT providers to deliver value most effectively.
• Coordinate, facilitate, and lead meetings and improv groups as well as be responsible for projects and initiatives.

Scania håller just nu på att bygga upp en produktionsanläggning i Kina med en tillhörande R&D-avdelning som bland annat kommer skapa en produkt anpassad för den inhemska marknaden. Du i teamet
Gruppen du kommer att ingå i är stationerad i Södertälje och har bland annat som ansvar att ta fram kostnadsrationaliserade koncept för motor/drivlina med fokus att hitta rätt balans mellan kostnad och prestanda. Detta kanske är omvänt mot hur du tidigare har jobbat men det utmanar teknisk innovation och egenskapsoptimering lika mycket, om inte mer.

I Kina finns en systeravdelning som undersöker leverantörsbas och hittar lämpliga komponenter att köpa. Vår roll i Sverige är att förstå hur dessa komponenter kan integreras i befintlig plattform på bästa sätt, samt se till att egenskaperna i övrigt blir så bra som möjligt. Vi har även samarbete med R&D avdelningarna i Södertälje som utvecklar plattformen vi använder. 

Ditt ansvarsområdet är främst komponenter på motorn men även artiklar på andra delar av drivlinan kan förekomma. Du kan få en bred variation av arbetsuppgifter allt i från till att designa artiklar, stötta kollegor i Kina med design/kravställning/verifieringsmetoder, ta fram nya koncept, strukturläggning till att hjälpa till där det behövs.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in traction inverters and DC/DC converters, you will be responsible for developing, designing, and optimizing these advanced power electronics components for our BEV trucks. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and test engineers, to ensure the successful integration and performance of these power electronics components. Your Tasks

In the role of Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of new and improvement of existing electrical components. The journey begins by setting and providing our requirements to the suppliers, which are responsible for the design of the component, and actively co-develop the component. The thermal management system has a very central and important role in the future of sustainable transport. It’s one of the main pillars that makes electrification possible by improving the performance, range and charging in a cost and weight sensitive environment.

 

The Product

The thermal management system for an electrified truck is managing the temperature of the power electronics used for electrical solutions for the truck, It’s managing the batteries temperature, the climate of the driver’s cab, the electric powertrain and many more subsystems. For a non-electric truck it’s instead managing the combustion engine.

 

Your assignment

Your assignment will be to take responsibility for one or several components of hardware and develop and install that component. You will have complete ownership of the components and the responsibility to follow the component through its development stages from concept to industrialisation. To achieve you’ll have the support of highly skilled and experienced colleagues throughout the organisation, both within your own team and other parts of Scania. Examples of responsibilities are designing the part, setting the part time plan, aligning interfaces and test plans with other cross functions and overseeing which tests needs to be done and collaborating those with the test groups, from strength calculation to performance tests and collaborating with the purchasing department who’ll source your part.

The team you’ll be part of is an agile team that works with all parts of the thermal management system, from developing heat exchangers, electric fans, suspension solutions, casted structural parts to installation routing of hoses and pipes. Depending on your interests and experiences opportunities for cross collaboration work within the TRATON group exists including development work with MAN in Germany and Navistar in the USA.

The role also has a focus on team deliveries as each component is necessary for the complete system. You’ll be part of a team that are both expected to help you and expect you to step out of your original responsibilities to help out the team when necessary.

Our team, UECF provides the hardware and architecture needed to charge the electrical vehicles and to connect all the high voltage components such as batteries and the electrical machine to each other. Rollbeskrivning

Nu söker vi en erfaren konstruktör till vårt team för uppdragsledning/konstruktion inom produktvård, för att både hantera våra nya elektrifierade plattformar samt våra existerande.

Tjänstens ansvarsområde spänner över hela TRATON-familjen där du leder din tvärfunktionella grupp i arbetet genom de olika projektfaserna. På så sätt arbetar vi nära både utveckling, inköp, produktion och eftermarknad.

Du och ditt team ansvarar för övergripande planering, finansiering, konstruktion och implementation. Du når framgång genom att utmana, engagera och motivera ditt team att lösa både enkla och mer komplicerade och ofta tidskritiska ärenden.

Som konstruktör hos oss arbetar du globalt och skapar ett stort kontaktnät tillsammans med inköp, produktion, simulerings- och provingenjörer, konstruktörer, marknad och externa kunder.

Our group, RSDC are working with defense cab development and consists of both employees and consultants where we work together in a cross-functional, dynamic, and exciting environment close to the market and the customer and in broad cross functional cooperation with other design groups, production, purchase, suppliers and after market. We put our efforts into product development in ongoing projects and we are also working in the concept development phase of new tenders. We aim to work agile and use learnings to continuously improve our processes and methods. 

Right now we are in an intensive period working with the industrialization of two of the largest Defence projects at Scania. After this, we will continue to develop and extend the portfolio of products to new customers that we see are coming with even bigger volumes and extended challenging demands. We need a Senior Development Engineer who has a lot of experience from previous work with product development systems and who understands what is possible to achieve with the existing processes and systems such as PD System, OAS, KS, Mona, CATIA, etc. 

Your duties

We are divided into three areas in RSDC, Protection, Exterior, and Interior, where you will support all three and act in common questions on the RSD level. We support each other both within the team but also for our entire group. You will have the possibility to affect the product yourself, but also support group members and lead consultants. It is part of the work to lead and secure deliveries from the development assignments. As a development engineer with us, you will be in contact with the entire cab and interface to the rest of the complete vehicle with great variety, both regarding the product and the systems.

We work in fast and scalable processes (That need to come from previous experience) and you will quickly see the results of your influence. This task requires you to be open-minded, oriented for the cross-functional work, and determined to find the best solution out of Scania and customer perspective. It is of importance to be a team player.

Your profile


• You are a university or master's engineer, preferably with many years of experience in product development at Scania
• It's an advantage if you have a wide contact area at Scania and RoD and an understanding of different  development groups
• You are creative, solution-oriented, and have an understanding and interest in how the cab as a whole and its subsystems work
• You are positive, flexible, like to investigate new roads and solutions that are based on well known working ways, and like to collaborate with others, both within the group but also with other cross-functions e.g. project managers, purchasing, production, and suppliers.
• You work in a structured way, you like when things go fast and have your own drive
• You are results-oriented and work to achieve set goals
• You have knowledge and experience with design software, like Catia, systems like OAS, Fras
• You are familiar with the PD process

It is an advantage to have previous experience from Scania with good knowledge of Scania module systems, our processes, and systems. Experience with CATIA V5 is also an advantage and you feel comfortable working in both English and Swedish.

Scanias motorutveckling är en viktig pusselbit för att möta våra högt ställda hållbarhetsmål. Låg bränsleförbrukning är avgörande och där är vi en viktig del i Scanias världsledande roll. Området Turbo och Gasväxlingssystem har under åren blivit en allt viktigare del i att möta framtidens utmaningar för förbränningsmotorn, som lägre förbrukning och ännu lägre emissioner.

 

Om gruppen

Hos oss får du vara med hela vägen från första skiss till provning av prototyper i gas stand och på motorn inom förutvecklingen. Samtidigt har du ansvar för layoutarbetet och installationen av turbon i serieprojekten.

Vår grupp har ansvar för gasmotorer, V8or, förutveckling av turboteknik samt även för bussinstallationen och  fältkvalitén på befintliga plattformar. En stor del av ditt jobb kommer att vara att stötta förutvecklingen med innovativ turbodesign.

Vi har tillgång till en avancerad rigg för turboutveckling, sk gas stand, i världsklass. Den i kombination med bra simuleringskapacitet ger oss möjlighet att ligga i framkant gällande verkningsgrad för turbos.

Vi är 11 kunniga och mycket engagerade utvecklingsingenjörer med inriktning mot utveckling, provning och konstruktion.

 

Din roll

Du kommer att vara inblandad i alla projekt som gruppen jobbar med. Inom förutvecklingen jobbar vi med avancerade, parametriserade modeller för att bygga ut vårt kunnande inom turbodesign. Inom gröna projekt ansvarar du tillsammans med respektive uppdragsledare för installationen av turbon med tillhörande rör och slangar, samt deltar aktivt i layoutarbetet. I ditt ansvarsområde ingår kontakt med leverantörer och beställning av prototyper och serieartiklar.

Du kommer att ha möjlighet att lära dig mycket om turbon och dess inverkan på helsystemet motor, samt utveckla din kunskap i Scanias olika processer från gulpil till rödpil.

 

Din profil

Vi söker dig med flera års konstruktörserfarenhet, med kunskap kring uppbyggandet av parametersatta modeller. Du tar ansvar för planering och uppföljning av dina leveranser gentemot dina olika kunder samt inom beställning av prototyphårdvaror.

Erfarenhet inom turbo/gasväxlingsområdet samt inom Scanias processer är meriterande.

Du kommunicerar obehindrat på både svenska och engelska i tal och skrift.

Vi söker nu en gjutgodskonstruktör som motiveras av utmaningen att kravbalansera tekniska produktegenskaper som prestanda och hållfasthet mot kostnad och produktion.

Du kommer att ingå i en grupp med lång erfarenhet och konstruera stora komplexa gjutgods i gjutjärn och aluminium för sandpress och kokillgjutning. Vi har även artiklar i plast. Du kommer att ha ett tätt samarbete med beräkning, provning, inköp och leverantör samt vårt eget gjuteri.

 

Din profil

Du är en kreativ person som arbetar väl tillsammans med andra men som samtidigt har en hög självständighet i ditt arbete. Du gillar utmaningar och kan ha många uppgifter igång samtidigt

Du är civilingenjör alt högskoleingenjör med erfarenhet av gjutgodskonstruktion i Catia V5 som nu känner att du vill ta nästa steg.

Dina arbetsuppgifter

Gruppen ansvarar för utveckling av bromsar och axlar. Gruppen är involverad i många av Scanias interna projekt men även delaktiga i flera gemensamma projekt inom VW Truck & Bus. Vi har idag mycket stort fokus på framtidens elektrifierade drivlinor där våra ingående komponenter kommer ingå.
 
Har du stort intresse för fordon, mekanik och hållfasthet så är det en bra utgångspunkt för att du ska trivas hos oss och bli en framgångsrik konstruktör.
 
Inom vår sektion ingår ytterligare två konstruktionsgrupper som ansvarar för styrning och chassi. Dessutom ingår även två provande egenskapsansvariga grupper för bromsprestanda och fordonsdynamik samt en beräkningsgrupp för fordonsdynamik och hållfasthet. Beroende på uppdrag och arbetsbelastning inom sektionen så nyttjar vi möjligheten att balansera arbetsuppgifter mellan grupperna vilket vid intresse ger dig en möjlighet att jobba brett och bidra inom flera teknikområden. 
 
Som konstruktör är du navet i Scanias produktutvecklingsprocess och kommer att ha många tvärfunktionella kontakter inom hela företaget som bidrar till att du kommer att bygga upp ett stort nätverk. Våra leverantörer är även i många fall delaktiga i vår produktutveckling och du kommer därför även att jobba med många externa kontakter. Din profil


• Du är civil- eller högskoleingenjör inom maskin eller farkostteknik

Workshop and Parts Department is now looking for a new team member with focus on developing our Services Operation solutions. The work will be carried out to a large degree in Scania Maintenance through cross-functional groups with agile methodology as a base. Working as a Service Development Manager you will be a big part of the development for our Scania Maintenance program regarding the system, process and to give relevant business input. This means helping out with our global solutions to how e.g. quotations, cost and content should look like, but also to make sure to continuously improve the user journeys in our retail network. The work will be carried out in close cooperation with our distributors and internal departments with a lot of cooperation with Product Owners, Product Managers, Service Designers and other stakeholders.

 

Your profile

We are looking for a person with high experience within the Service Operation area and previous work in our Business Unit/Retail network is a merit. In this position you need to have the ability to develop and drive our business and processes, but also to put and monitor adequate system requirements.

You need to understand what content is necessary within the maintenance program and how the different intervals are related to the overall cost. The E-mobility will also be a big part of the development for the years to come and you need to constantly measure and improve the customer experience. Knowledge of system development is highly regarded since there is a lot of collaboration with the system development squads belonging to the same value creation team.

The implementations are done together with our service network and therefore you need to have good personal skills and the ability to implement both products and systems. You will be required to act as a trainer and partner towards our services network.

In order to feel comfortable within this role you need to be able to take responsibility, work at the forefront of products- & system development and enjoy the challenge of working with a broad network of people. We believe that you have a wide experience of Scania products, services and processes. Service market experience is desirable. The fact that you are pedagogical, communicative, structured and independent is a given for us. The external contacts in our service network require that you are fluent in written and spoken English. Other languages are considered a merit.

As we now are in an intensive period, we need development engineers who take intiative and  technical responsibility for the development assignments to meet our customers requirements.

Defence Truck Development develops customer adaptations for defence purposes and produces technical data in procurements of defence-adapted trucks.

Your duties
We are divided into three teams where you will be part of one of the teams with a dedicated area of ??responsibility and we support each other both within the team but also for our entire group.


• You will partly develop the product yourself, but also, if necessary, produce a work order for ordering development assignments that are part of your area of ??responsibility.
• With us, you get the opportunity for training in leadership because it is part of the work to lead and secure deliveries from the development assignments that have been ordered.

Your Profile
You are a university or master's engineer, preferably with a few years experience in product development and who has a general profile rather than an interest in specializing in a specific area.


• You are creative, solution-oriented and have an understanding and interest in how the truck as a whole and it's subsystems work.
• You are positive, flexible and like to collaborate with others, both within the group but also with other cross-functions e.g. project managers, purchasing, production and suppliers.
• You work in a structured way and, can keep your focus even under pressure.
• You find it easy to drive your own work
• You are results-oriented and strive to achieve set goals.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience from Scania with good knowledge of Scania module systems, our processes and systems. Experience with CATIA V5 is also an advantage and you feel comfortable working in both English and Swedish.

Avdelningen Vehicle Service Information ansvarar för att utveckla det stöd som behövs och att i samarbete med utvecklingsavdelningarna göra våra produkter mer servicevänliga.

Dina arbetsuppgifter

Som metodingenjör hos oss kommer du att utveckla felsöknings- och reparationsmetoder för busschassi och kaross. Din huvudsakliga arbetsuppgift blir att redan i produktutvecklingsstadiet delta i utvecklingsarbetet, kravställa produkten med avseende på servicebarhet.

Du kommer att genomföra metod och tidsstudier och agera som förespråkare för service information inom de olika bussprojekten.

En av utmaningarna för dig är att, parallellt med att konstruktionen växer fram, utveckla smarta underhållslösningar som senare ska beskrivas och användas av Scanias mekaniker runt om i världen. Det innebär att en viktig del av ditt jobb blir att omsätta komplex teknik till lättförståeliga arbetsmetoder och utrustningar som ska användas under produktens livscykel. Utvecklingen inom detta område digitaliseras med CAD och simuleringar.

Din profil

Du är en högskole- eller civilingenjör och har minst två års arbetslivserfarenhet av liknande arbetsuppgifter. Alternativet är att du har längre arbetslivserfarenhet från utvecklingsarbete i produktutvecklingsprocessen med fordon.

Grundläggande el-kunskaper, samt produktkännedom av busschassi och/eller kaross är meriterande.

Du har ett stort intresse för teknik och produktutveckling, och har förmåga att arbeta både självständigt och i grupp där dina goda kommunikationsegenskaper underlättar ditt tvärfunktionella arbete. Svenska och engelska behärskar du i både tal och skrift.

Goda datorkunskaper är en förutsättning och CAD erfarenhet är meriterande.
Som person är du resultatorienterad, strukturerad och driven person med teknikintresse.
