Do you enjoy working in a friendly and diverse team, are you sociable and do you like sharing your skills? Then this may be the ideal opportunity for you!

We are currently looking for a Requirement Analyst who is passionate about agile working methods, loves development and enjoys the challenge of getting people and technology to function as a team to achieve optimal results.

Knowledge and experience of Scania’s modular systems and familiarity with Dassault applications (CATIA/ENOVIA/3DExperience) – preferably in a “user role” – would be especially advantageous.

Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

We are currently looking for a Requirement Analyst to our Business Intelligence (BI) group in Södertälje which is a central function in Scania IT, serving all functions and processes within Scania globally. Demand on our services is high, and your daily work will differ a lot depending on priorities and your profile. We maintain a backlog of projects/requirements that require estimations on full-scale project implementations, as well as projects that are in execution on existing BI portfolio where developers need detailed analysis/refinement activities for making the development execution faster. As you will work with a broad scope, we are looking for someone who has a strong business acumen with the addition of being technically strong in BI and data warehouse technologies. The stronger technical profile you have, the better.

You should be able to assess the business value of incoming project requests and prioritise accordingly as per our process.

You will work closely with different functions across the whole Scania organisation as well as with Scania IT. Development resources are available within Scania IT as well as with external parties.

Skills and experience:

• Minimum 5 years experience from the BI domain, from a requirement analyst/developer role
• Technical understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture
• Data modelling
• Experience of agile methods is a plus, as well as knowledge in BI tools (e.g. PowerBI, Qlik)
• Business experience from the automotive industry is meriting
• Strong English language skills
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

Your Profile:

• Analytical and curious
• Fast in delivering results and keeps set deadlines
• Comfortable in an environment with high pace of change, strong in prioritisation
• You are curious about business problems and want to understand business impact and priorities
