Your responsibilities

You will work with industrial research and pre-development in a collaborative and agile multi-cultural team within TRATON Group R&D, and your focus will be to develop, test, and run data pipelines in production at a large scale. The team’s responsibility spans from architectural designs, via software development to concept evaluation, as part of a more intelligent transportation system.
As part of this role, you will also:

Your profile

Role Summary
As a System Engineer at TRATON R&D, you will join a dedicated team working on our Software Update and Diagnostic Capabilities. Our mission is to ensure that the ECUs in Trucks, Buses, and Industrial & Marine Engines for Scania, MAN, International, and VW Truck and Bus can be updated using cutting-edge technology. Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
In Battery Production we have installed high volume series production of Battery packs, Modules, two prototype lines for batteries and a line for the series production of VCB cables. We are in a phase where we train and build competence to manufacture Battery packs, Modules and cabling for tomorrow's e-mobility products.
SAP Senior EWM Super User
The electrification trend within the automotive business is moving rapidly. For us, this means that we need to prepare for ramping up the production of electric vehicles and help Scania to be sustainable. One major component of electrical vehicles is the Battery.
Included is building a new factory to produce batteries for electrical vehicles. This new plant will work with fully automated equipment for production and logistics. In this new plant, SAP is being implemented to support logistics, finance and material planning processes. The implementation is ongoing and will be completed within the coming months. We are therefore looking for a new colleague to strengthen our SAP warehousing team within the battery factory.
In the role as a SAP super user, you will work with run & maintain of the existing SAP implementation at the battery production unit. This means to support our users in problem solving on daily basis in accordance with our escalation model. You will also work in project and initiatives with mapping of demands of changes, testing, training and implementations. Have a holistic view of our current situation in our IS/IT landscape and coordinate improvements by reporting incidents and change requests. Your assignment
You will lead parts of our application portfolio, Scania Workshop Suite (SWS), used in our service network. Your focus will be the application used globally in our workshops to get spare part information, instructions, and manuals. You will work with our current solutions and be part of developing new ones.

Your tasks

Your Assignment

Dina arbetsuppgifter

I rollen som funktionsutvecklare kommer du att ha tvärfunktionella kontakter, med olika delar av företaget. Du kommer att kunna vara med i allt från de första penseldragen på nya funktioner till att göra vår befintliga funktioner ännu bättre. Arbetet sker i nära samarbete med dina mycket duktiga kollegor i gruppen.

Arbetsuppgifterna är varierade och gruppen ansvarar för hela leveransen, från att förstå vad kunden vill ha och hur nya lagkrav påverkar oss till att funktionen gått in i producerade lastbilar och nått kunden.

Som en del av en typisk arbetsdag kommer du att utveckla funktioner och genomföra tester i olika testmiljöer. Vi skriver krav, systemerar, implementerar med Matlab Simulink, skriver testfall i Python. Självklart är vi ute i våra fordon och provar på väg och testbana, sedan analyseras mätdata för att eventuellt justera funktionen. Vi ansvarar även för att funktionerna klarar certifiering.

Teamet och vad vi gör

På gruppen ”Electrification System Management” ansvarar vi för Scanias inbyggda batteriövervakning- och batteriklimatiseringssystem för högspänningsbatterier. Systemen har helt egenutvecklade funktioner och mjukvara. Gruppen är idag ca 12 medarbetare som innehar stor erfarenhet med övergripande system- och säkerhetsansvar.
