Your role
As an aftertreatment calibration engineer you will get an unique opportunity to apply and develop your understanding and knowledge of the engine, the aftertreatment system, control system and hardware. You will work in a dedicated team with both engineers, sales and aftermarket support in close contact with the end customer.

You will mainly work with Scania´s own engine control system. Your focus will be on performance and diagnostic calibration of the aftertreatment system, ensuring fulfilment of legal requirements. The calibration is carried out mainly in our own engine test cells, but also in vehicles and special rigs. Work on customer machines is also possible. You will be required to carry out analysis of data from test cell and field trial machines, and provide product support for the sales and aftermarket organization.

Your profile
We expect you have a master degree or comparable education within engineering and 3-5 years of experience of diesel engine calibration. You have good knowledge in INCA, Creta, vision. C-programming experience is a plus.

In order to be successful as an aftertreatment calibration engineer you should be motivated, be willing to take initiative and have good communication skills. You are enthusiastic and willing to learn, actively seeking the information that is needed to perform the work. We work with high expectations from our customers which demands a combination of structure and  flexibility in your work.

In order to be successful as an engine calibrator you should be motivated, be willing to take initiative and have good communication skills. Kalibreringsgruppen supportar verksamheten med kalibreringar enligt fastlagda intervaller. Det finns ett tätt samarbete med bl.a. Underhåll, Process- och Serviceingenjörer för att planera, utveckla och optimera arbetsmoment och processer. Gruppen fungerar även styrande, framförallt när det gäller expertkunskap inom området kalibrering.



Din roll

Du ansvarar huvudsakligen för att utföra förebyggande och avhjälpande underhåll i form av kalibreringar både i fält och på vårat kalibreringslaboratorium. Utöver de schemalagda kalibreringarna ingår ansvar för referensinstrument på det egna labbet och även för metodutveckling och förbättringar för de instrument du ansvarar för.



I dina arbetsuppgifter ingår även att:

* Vid behov medverka på internationella och nationella inspektioner
* Initiera, medverka och utreda kvalitetsavvikelser
* Medverka i verksamhetsprojekt t.ex. introduktioner för nya produkter eller ombyggnationer
* Driva och delta i förbättringsarbeten



I rollen som Kalibreringsingenjör hos oss får du en varierande vardag samtidigt som arbetet ställer höga krav på kundfokus, eget arbete och samarbetsförmåga tvärfunktionellt och inom gruppen. Intresse för teknik, noggrannhet och kvalitet inom läkemedelstillverkning är en självklarhet.

Vi förutsätter att du har

* Kunskap i ellära på minst gymnasienivå
* Goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska i tal och skrift
* Datorvana (t.ex. Microsoft Office)
* God fysik då vissa arbeten i fält kan vara fysiskt krävande





Det är meriterande om du har:

* Teoretiska och praktiska kunskaper inom mätteknik, instrumentering och felsökning inom processindustrin
* Högskolekompetens inom områden som elektroteknik, fysik, maskinteknik, kemiteknik.
* Kunskaper/utbildning inom GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) och Lean med erfarenhet från processindustrin/läkemedelsbranschen
