As a BI Architect, you will be responsible for the end-to-end flow from source to report, encompassing both technology and the way of working. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our data landscape and driving Scania's transition into a Data Mesh. Collaboration and communication are key to success in this role, as you will work closely with our developers, self-service users, and a wider architect community. You will communicate effectively at all levels of the company, from C-level management to juniors, and translate Scania's overall strategy into a BI strategy with a holistic long-term perspective.
You will use your curiosity and open mind to identify new trends in data architecture, technology, and ways of working, bringing that knowledge into our global organization to enhance our capabilities. As an architect, you will drive change within your area and proactively initiate necessary actions.

You have a strong background with architectural work within global organisations, with an agile mindset and hands on approach to develop and drive architectural work.
You have the ability to translate complicated technical discussions to business language and vice versa. You thrive in a global, complex and everchanging environment - where you build trust and drive change through continuous dialogue.
More about you:
It is an advantage if you have previous experience from:
· 10+ years of experience working as BI Architect.
5+ years of experience with deep understanding of Data Warehousing, known Data Warehousing patterns, Analytics and Business Intelligence
3+ years of experience working with reporting tool PowerBI (both on-premise and cloud) and also SSAS and SSRS

· 2+ years of experience with cloud architecture design for end to end BI use cases
· AWS knowledge
· Knowledge of DevOps and designing CI/CD pipelines
Strong communication and documentation skills

About the role

We are a team of 20, including product owners, developers, and scrum masters. We are working in Value Creating Teams and your main responsibilities will be:


• Work with the development teams, analysing the architectural impact, providing solution proposals, and acting as a technical expert in the Product Legislations team.
• With an overall view, have a long-term vision of technical architecture, lead new practices, and introduce them to the team.
• Drive, design, describe and manage solutions in relation to the technical demands and business needs to guide the team in line with the strategy.
• Analyse and optimise with a holistic perspective focused on creating value for the customers.



Your profile


• You have a background in software development and expertise in any of the architectural diagram tools.
• Knowledge of developing solutions using cloud services such as AWS.
• Excellent understanding of IT Development and problem-solving, preferably experience working with software architecture.
• Ability to dig deeper into technical issues as needed and to be able to simplify and connect with the team members and different stakeholders at various levels.
• Ability to think strategically, understand the overview and build a picture of how the value stream Legal contributes to the Scania business.
• Ability to lead and guide the project in making key technical decisions.

Primary Responsibilities:
Senior Integration / BTP Architect
Design, develop, and implement SAP Cloud Integration solutions for integrating SAP and Non-SAP Applications.
Lead the design of Interfaces and ensure their seamless integration with various systems.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the integration team.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical design.
Ensure the successful integration of SAP S4HANA with other systems in a complex, heterogenous and challenging technology environment


· Additional Responsibilities:
Leverage SAP Integration technologies like IDoc, SOAP EDI, and AIF for effective integration.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SAP Cloud Integration.

Requirements:

ERP Digital Core are supporting Scania with IT solutions on standard ERP software, mainly SAP and Microsoft Dynamics. Scania is now planning to increase the capability in this area adding an ERP Lead Architect with the responsibility to secure an efficient deployment of strategies in this area. Your work assignment

The future IT strategy contains a Digital Core containing SAP and MS Dynamics implementations serving as a backbone for Scania's future applications. Your task will be, together with our other ERP Lead architect, to lead the architectonic work within all strategic initiatives in this area.

Your profile
