Role Summary
Are you a highly skilled Senior Labour Law Specialist looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact? We are seeking an expert to provide legal guidance on labour law, collective bargaining agreements, and employment regulations. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring compliance with Swedish labour legislation while supporting strategic business decisions related to employment and workplace relations.
Job Responsibilities
· Lead union negotiations and ensuring compliance while fostering a collaborative dialogue with employee representatives.
· Act as the company's key advisor on collective bargaining agreements, ensuring fair and balanced agreements that align with both business needs and employee rights.
· Support HR and management in labour disputes, reorganizations, terminations, and employment contracts.
· Develop and implement labour law policies, negotiation strategies, and best practices.
· Monitor and analyze labour law developments and proactively advise on their impact, particularly regarding collective agreements and co-determination processes.
· Drive a culture of open and constructive dialogue between the company and trade unions to create long-term, sustainable workplace relations.
Who You Are
-You have 5+ years of experience in labour law, preferably in a corporate legal department, law firm, employer association, or trade union.
-You hold a relevant university degree in law, human resources, industrial relations, or business administration with a focus on labour law.
-You possess a deep understanding of collective bargaining agreements, co-determination processes (MBL), and union collaboration.
-You have strong negotiation skills with the ability to find balanced solutions that benefit both employer and employees.
-You are proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to navigate complex labour law issues while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
-You are fluent in Swedish and English (both written and verbal).

Tasks
In the role of Labour Law Specialist you will


• support and advice Scanias organisation in all Labour Law questions

Your Profile
You have a Law degree or an educational background in Human Resources. Its also good if you have experience working in projects.

As a person you are extrovert, pedalogical, diplomatic, analytical and have strong problem solving skills. To be successfull in this role it´s important that you have the ability to create and retain relations with others. 

You are fluent in both Swedish and English.

I din roll som arbetsrättsspecialist kommer du att


• stötta Scanias organisation i arbetsrättsliga frågor av alla former
• utveckla, genomföra, följa upp och ständigt förbättra processer och metoder inom ansvarsområdet
• följa upp och implementera ändringar i lagar och avtal
• informera och utbilda i våra olika ansvarsområden
• driva eller supportera vid olika fackliga kontakter och förhandlingar
• vid behov medverka i tecknandet av lokala kollektivavtal, policys mm

Din profil
Vi ser att du har personalvetarutbildning eller juristutbildning (eller motsvarande kunskaper förvärvade på annat sätt). Du har god kunskap inom det arbetsrättsliga området. Erfarenhet av förhandlingsarbete är en nödvändighet liksom vana av att arbeta konsultativt och med utbildning/information. Erfarenhet av att arbeta i projekt är också meriterande.

Som person är du utåtriktad, diplomatisk, pedagogisk, informativ, analytisk och har förmåga att lösa problem. För att lyckas i denna roll är det viktigt att du har lätt för att skapa och bibehålla kontakter.

Du talar och skriver flytande svenska och engelska.
