About the Role
As a Legal Counsel at TFS, you will have a tangible impact on the success of the business. You will provide legal expertise and guidance to TFS Group and face a wide variety of exciting tasks including:

prepare, review and negotiate contracts and other legal documents;
handling corporate law matters and its related paralegal support (e.g. notarization, apostille)
supporting new business plans and ventures with legal matters;
promote and support the undergoing organizational establishments and changes;
support in a wide variety of legal issues, such as outsourcing, service level agreements, IT agreements;
support the General Counsel and the Legal team in driving the development of the department in terms of work methodology, tools and strategic direction as well as trainings and presentations;
support on developing and administering procedures for the work of the legal function, finding new and better ways to support the business and add strategic value.

Group Compliance is part of the Group Legal & Compliance function. We are now looking for a Subject Matter Expert / legal counsel with focus on Competition Law. This role will give the right candidate the possibility to take the lead and develop the way of working with, but also offer the unique opportunity to address, competition law related risks and topics from a holistic and operational perspective in all Scania activities. The role will also partially support our Group Legal Affairs function. Job description

Automotive manufacturing is regulated in China and the industrial establishment needs to be approved by relevant authorities (In China the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, MIIT) before being able to operate in China. This is an extensive work and critical for the start of operations.

We are now looking for an organized, diligent, and proactive Project leader of Factory Approval to help ensure the start-up of the factory on time to meet the planned start of production. You will be in charge of establishing Factory Approval team in China, developing a comprehensive Factory Approval strategy and overseeing the challenges we may face to achieve factory approval assignment. You will also be responsible for matching all the requirement well before handover to approving authorities in China, which ensure that the approval process meets the overarching time plan.

Since this is the first time Scania is preparing for this kind of formal factory approval, the assignment will be to build up the internal process of releasing the necessary information on time. Your job responsibilities mainly focuses:


• Supervise and lead our Factory Approval team, ensuring the proper implementation of all factory approval steps and procedures
• Communicate with audit agency experts on pain points in the company's current situation and seek solutions
• Take overarching role on setting time plans and ensuring that the approval process meets the overarching time plan, in order to meet the planned start of production
• Regularly review the progress of audit preparation, escalate or resolve any issues in the process, including organization of internal audit and issue improvement
• Lead and develop a team of Plant Approval experts and coordinators to provide the best possible support to all departments on audit requirements

Requirements


• University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (a focus on factory approval experience is preferred) 
• Excellent project management and leadership skills
• Be familiar with management system and related documents, the workflows and interrelationships of the company's departments, the processes and management of the production site.
• High level of verbal and written communication and negotiation skills in English, Chinese is a must.  
• Strong organizational skills – the ability to coordinate and prioritize many different tasks/projects at the same time and the ability to adapt to change and meet deadlines.
• Integrity and grit to drive development in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience in government relations and more than two times' experience in management of factory approval by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (this point is a plus).
• Excellent knowledge of MIIT factory approval process, approval policies and regulations, approval inspection requirements (this point is a plus).

About the internship

Scania, IT & Service purchasing team is looking for a legal trainee to join its team. We are 10 persons from all ages and backgrounds that proceed with purchases of global complex IT solutions in a rapidly moving environment where ways of buying and managing Scandia’s risk is constantly challenge and where new ways of contracting are to be created. Scania is also going through a journey to review the ways we are buying consultancy services and for that we would need you to show off your best negotiation skills!

Your duties

In the role as a graduate law trainee, you will work cross functionally within the team under the supervision of a lawyer. You shall support the team with reviewing and drafting agreement, get in-depth knowledge of the European Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), assist negotiation with suppliers and build templates for future ways of contracting. You should also support as a liaison between different legal functions within our organization.

Scania is continuing their efforts on building a robust governance and control environment. We are now looking for a role that will act within Governance and Internal Controls Management. We are looking for a person with extensive experience in the areas of Governance and Internal Controls specifically within Captive Financing. The role will be based in the Risk Management Function but will be shared with the Compliance Function and for the governance related responsibilities report into Financial Services Global Compliance Function.

Key responsibilities and activities will be:

The Global Governance and Internals Control Manager assumes overall second line responsibility for the implementation and execution for Scania Financial Services internal controls management.  His/her responsibility include, but are not limited to:


• Support and monitor ICMS in Scania Financial Services.
• Continuously ensure that the global ICMS elements reflect the needs in Scania Financial Services and risk-appetite and other directions and requirements set by Financial Services board and management.
• Monitor and report to the SFS management on the ICMS status.
• Consult and train relevant Process Owners and Control Testers within Scania Financial Services.
• Design processes and guidelines to ensure Control Testers are independent and have the competence to perform testing
• Review the results of the controls testing
• Design processes and guidelines for the tracking of measures to mitigate identified control deficiencies on Scania Financial Services level
• Design processes for maintenance of appropriate user access in the ICS software for all involved persons within the area of responsibility.
• Evaluate the need to improve local ICMS activities as a result of feedback from internal, external, or legal audits

For the governance related part of the role the following responsibilities make up the starting point for this job. It should however be noted that this is an area under development and the responsibilities will change as part of the overall governance maturity changes:


• Develop an improved lifecycle process for management of Scania Financial Services policies (including consultations, implementation tracking, exception management, communications environment)
