Job description
Reporting to the Deputy Managing Director you will act as a key member of the management team and will take a significant role in the strategic development and management of the company.

In this role you will be responsible for the for the Finance and Contract administration functions which includes development of the financial and operational strategy and the financial metrics and incentives tied to the strategy. The Finance department handles the financial aspects of the company, including financial reporting, business control, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting to Group reporting and local statutory bodies. The Contract Administration department administrates all finance contracts in the portfolio and serves as the customer support function toward our markets.


The Finance Manager is a business partner to the organization, commercial operations and customers, strongly focused on supporting portfolio growth, profitability, return on equity, cash management and competitive cost of funding.


The main responsibilities are:
Focus on strategic planning and provide insight beyond financial based performance
Lead the team within the Finance- and Contract Administration department based on Scania core values and Leadership principles
Active role in statutory reporting and Scania group reporting
Managing the company’s funding
Responsible for taxation
Responsible for the financial planning and controlling of the company
Development and follow-up of financial policies and processes
Ensure internal control processes according to Group standards
Responsible for contact with external auditors and authorities
Participate in key decisions as a member of the Management Team to achieve the company’s goals
Participate in any change process with regard to new or modified products, services, and new markets;
Support development of new markets, products and entities within the area of responsibility


The position requests active cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, the management team of SCA, Business control and Group reporting in Sweden, local suppliers, tax authorities, auditors, banks, legal advisors, tax advisors and Scania distributors and dealers, and covers as well new cross border markets and distributor financing activities.


Your profile We are looking for an experienced finance professional with a high level of personal integrity and a commercial mindset. In addition - and very importantly - we expect you to take an active part in the management team and contribute to the further development of the company.


Previous management experience and knowledge is a merit, otherwise at least 5 years’ experience from controlling.


Your skills and formal qualifications should preferably include:

Job description

In the ever-changing world of combating money laundering (ML) and terrorism financing (TF) Scania Finans AB (SFA) is looking to hire an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Manager and especially appointed executive (SAE). The position is located in SFA's head office in Södertälje but will occasionally require travel to SFA's local branches in the Nordic and Baltic regions. You will serve as responsible for SFA’s AML operations and report to the Credit Manager. SFA's AML team currently consists of the AML Manager, one AML Specialist and a cross-functional Business Analyst covering both Credit and AML related processes. There is also a plan to expand the AML Team with one additional AML Specialist. The position will give you a broad knowledge of SFA's core processes and it will be an excellent stepping stone in a successful career within Scania for the right candidate. This is a replacement for a Senior AML Specialist who has taken the position as Subject Matter Expert (SME) AML on a global level at Scania.

Your tasks

You will lead the AML team and be SFA internal first point of contact for AML governance-related topics within the first line of defence. The role includes the responsibility for the development and maintenance of SFA's internal control system for the prevention of money laundering and terrorism financing within the first line of defence. The responsibility for updating SFA's risk assessment regarding ML/TF is included in the position. The task is to be responsible for the maintenance and further development of SFA's policy, guidelines and instructions regarding activities to prevent ML/TF. You will keep routines and procedures up to date due to changes in legislation, regulation and best-practise within AML/CTF including being involved in the training of the employees. The Head Office/Market Support centre is based in Södertälje, supporting the local markets with governance, management, administration and systems. In the markets where we operate, Scania Credit Group is financing more than two thirds of Scania’s sales. We are more than 100 dedicated professionals who manage a portfolio consisting of trucks, buses, coaches and trailers representing over 600 MEURO of assets.

Job description

As our current colleague is moving on to a new challenge within Scania, we are now looking for the replacement. The Finance Manager is reporting to the CFO and is a member of the finance management team. The Finance Manager is responsible for the profitability and financial, administrative and risk management operations of Scania Credit AB. The Finance Manager is heading the finance department of Scania Credit AB, which consist of two accountants and one financial controller.

The Finance Department handles the financial aspects of the company, including financial reporting, financial control, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting to local statutory bodies and to Head Office in Sweden. The position is also responsible for reporting accurate financial results to several stakeholders.

The Finance Manager is a business partner to the organization, commercial operations and customers, strongly focused on and supporting portfolio growth, profitability, return on equity, cash management and competitive cost of funding.

The main responsibilities are:


• Lead the team within the Finance department based on Scania core values and Leadership principals; coaching and development;
• Active role in statutory reporting and Scania group reporting
• Day to day accounting and reconciliations
• Responsible for taxation
• Support financial planning, controlling
• Responsible for company’s funding in respect of SCA Policy
• Development and follow-up of financial policies and processes supporting both the financing and insurance business
• Development and implementation of the company´s systems, related to GL, lease & loan and BI-tools
• Leading and initiating process improvements within the finance department
• Active participation in Governance, risk and compliance framework activities and requirements
• Ensure internal control processes according to Group standards
• Responsible for contact with external auditors and authorities
• Participate in any change process with regard to new or modified products, services, and new markets;

The position requests active cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, the management team of SCA, Business control and Group reporting in Sweden, local suppliers, tax authorities, auditors, banks, legal advisors, tax advisors and Scania distributors and dealers,  and covers as well new cross border markets and distributor financing activities.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has a high level of personal integrity, is driven and self-motivated. In order to be successful in this position you will need to have a proven knowledge of IFRS, experience preferably from Scania Financial Services company or from other parts of Scania. Previous management experience and knowledge is a merit. You should have experience and a strong interest in developing and improving processes. Other areas that you will be involved in are tax questions, financing, leasing, accounting issues related to the supervision of the company.

Your skills and formal qualifications should preferably include


• A university degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration
• Experience in financial group reporting
• Experience in cash management and funding
• Highly developed communication skills, co-operative
• Strong analytical and financial skills with strategic thinking
