Your work assignments
Engineering Gears within Transmission Machining, now has an open position where we are looking for a Process planner to join our group. Today the group consists of fourteen people with an interesting mix of different backgrounds and experiences. Our group consists of two teams, one team of Process planners and the other team with Project managers, lead by one Team leader each.

What profile do we believe you have?
As a Process planner for gears you will work very close to the R&D- Powertrain development, the Powertrain Production- Transmission Manufacturing as well as the colleagues in the group. You will also work close with external suppliers and partners, both nationally and internationally.
The role includes having a central role in the development process from design to manufacturing. You will work with high demands and expectations regarding:
• the product's functionality
• the ability to manufacture the product
• the product's cost to manufacture
• the reliability of the manufacturing process
We work with machining processes, heat treatment and shot peening. We continuously work with many new manufacturing processes when our strategic products are developed, designed and put into operation.
You will have a broad network of contacts within the company as well as with external suppliers and partners, both nationally and internationally.
The office is located in Södertälje, but the position will involve some travel in connection with your role in machine investment projects.
Your skills
We are looking for a result driven person with a strong engineering mindset. To be successful in the position we also think you need to have the following attributes:
• Experience from either Product development or Process planning
• Knowledge of Catia V5
• Ability to analyse complex situations in a structured way
• Creative and solution orientated
• Ability and willingness to share experiences and guide colleagues
• Confident in internal and external discussions
• Due to the extensive international contacts you must be capable of expressing yourself fluently in both spoken and written Swedish and English
